I responded to an unsolicited email promoting a number of items.
I initiated the purchase of two bar stools.
I received a confirmation email that my purchase "is on its way"
Two days later another email that states "refund issued" with no explanation.
An email request for further explanation was not responded to.
I went searching their site for a phone no which I could not find (major red flag).
My overarching concern is the fact that this company that obviously has no customer service conviction
is in possession of my credit card info. Their track record that I am now reading about with their customers' credit card information is very troubling, hence my concerns.
I pen this complaint to warn others about this company.

Item advertised as Genuine OEM Hewlett Packard new fuser "HP 5100 Fuser New OEM RG5-7060 Brand New"
Fuser arrived quickly - thank you, BUT within the SAME month of ordering the coating on the fuser roller started flaking off. We also noticed that the spindle or axle holding the rubber transport wheels is rusty.
We do not believe that this fuser is a "HP 5100 Fuser New OEM RG5-7060 Brand New"
Please replace this fuser with the one that you advertised i.e. OEM New.
Attached are 4 pictures showing the damage and rust.
You appear to only allow 1 picture, but I have more showing rusty spindle

On Monday, July 28, 2014 at 10:37:02 AM: I sent complaint to http://www.rakuten.com/help/contactus You stated that the estimated email response is 3-5 days. 6 days is TODAY, Tuesday, August 5, 2014.
Still have not had any response. So I join the many complainants of Rakuten and tell the world "They are crooks"
This company has an Ebay account, they sell things on Ebay through Ebay listings. Ebay has a predominant TOS agreement with all of its vendors, and everyone, buying or selling must read and sign an agreement for Ebay's TOS.
I have recently had the displeasure of comming accross one of their auctions, it was for a "New Urban R31 Mid Tower Ccase With Window... or... Was it...
As it turns out, there was a "Buy it Now" price of $15.99 USD. And the sellers discription of the item was lacking, however, it was stated that since they did NOT have information, if you wanted to know what it was, you were to see the manufacuters website to view the product and specifications...
I did just that, The Urban R31 is a Thermaltake tower, it generally costs about $79.00 USD, so, I viewd this as a MAJOR bargain (those can be found on Ebay)... So, I clicked the "Buy it Now" button, I didnt hesitate, I paid immediately!
2 days later I received an email from Rakuten stating I was the winner of the "New Urban R31 Mid Tower Case With Window".
Another day went by and I recieved yet another email about my Tower, and, how if there were multiple items, I would receive mulitple packages from Rakuten...again though, the headliner was "New Urban R31 Mid Tower Case with Window".
Another day went by and then, I received an email with a tracking number, and a FULL description for the product... It was a " Thermaltake Luna 12 LED Blue - 1 x 4.72 -1200 RPM - Sleeve Bearing - Rubber", yes...a Fan... Not the Tower Case that was being Auctioned, that I paid for without hesitation due to false auctioning...
I contacted Rakuten via phone, and they seen the auction, they also were made aware of several other autions that were identically misleading...Bait and Switch, "pay for the tower and receive a fan", They told me they would fix the issue if it turned out to be an "Incorrect Listing". A couple days went by, they emailed me...
Sorry for your inconvience, we will refund the money if you send the fan back to us, however, since it has an Skew number, we wont be able to send you the Tower that was advertised as it was a mess up on our advertisings department, but, with the Skew, if we sent another product it would be another fan, and not the Tower...
Rgardless of what I told them, regardless of whats right, wrong, and illegal... They still refuse to send my the tower, but, they told me to keep the fan, and, they will refund the money, just to keep me quiet... But, I refuse, I want the Tower I paid for, thats whats right, and legal. All they have to do is get the Tower, add the proper Skew to the invoice, and send it out to the same address that registered with them as the one that PAID for the "Fan" Tower.
