I am having a kitchen renovation done to my home and electrical work was needed. I had been communicating with Kim for several weeks leading up to today (October 28th). An electrician was scheduled to come to my home and do the work at 7:30 this morning.
I called Kim's cell phone the afternoon before and left a message confirming time, I got no call back. 7:30 the next morning arrives and no one arrives, several messages left from my husband and no one answers. I called at 9:15 and finally got Kim.
She could not answer my question as to the whereabouts of her electrician. I overheard her talking to him on another phone telling him that she thought the job was for the next day and to get to my home as soon as he's done with the job he was currently on. I told her I didn't want to waste their time, they've already wasted mine and I'll take my business elsewhere.
They are inefficient, unreliable and unprofessional. It's very surprising they still remain in business. The number I listed, which is found all over the internet, when called has a recording of it not being in service, sometimes you get the recording, sometimes someone answers it; that should have been my first warning.
Luckily, I acted quickly before giving them my business and getting ripped off. This is a message to those considering using them, you pay the cheaper price for a reason! Go elsewhere.
In my dealings with this "company" Im still wondering how they are still in business also. They low ball their services just to get jobs from other legitimate companies and in return provides customers with nightmarish results. Not only that but I've spoken to a few of their employees in the city and I've come to the conclusion myself that they are boldly breaking every labor law in Nyc when it comes to their employees ( whom are told to present themselves as "independent contractors"). They dont care about the customer or their employees. Very sad to know that this type of company still exists to prey on hard working innocent people but if the customers don't speak up or their employees don't defend their rights then they'll continue to do "business".
