I entered into an agreement with Radius Management to purchase property, over the years, a payment or two was late, never 30 days late, but late, they charge a huge "late fee" and allow you to put that late fee at the end of the contract.
01/01/2015 Radius Management Policy Change
No longer will "late payments" be put on the end of the contract, instead, on 01/2015 the took all the late payment out of my regular payments and sent me this letter:
Dear Don,
This email is to inform you that your land account with us is now PAST DUE and requires urgent attention in order to remain open and allow you to keep your land. Please call us so we can help you bring your account current. I know we can find a solution that works for you. Anyone in the office can help. Please call us at 877-826-4057, or you can always make your payment on LANDPAYMENT.COM Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Got one in the mail that says I'm 3 months behind, and foreclosure will happen 02/23/2015, all over a policy change.
This is a money grab a Rip-Off by Radius if I have ever seen one....
Then I get another email and this one says Im 2 months behind, not 3, then I get another email that says I owe 200 bucks in late fees.
This is a bunch o' Crapola in my opinion, I wonder how many out there will be foreclosed on because of this new "policy" change...
So I requested all documents regarding my account, and this is what I got in return....
"Hi Don,
I was working on your request when we received your BBB complaint filed on 01/19/2015, case number ####### Because of this your request is being escalated to management. A member of our management team will get back to you by Friday. I can pass your fax number along since I don’t see it on the original fax.

You are refusing to send me paperwork now, because a complaint has been filed with the BBB?
How professional is that? It's my contract, my paperwork.

I will forward it to the BBB. along with the State of Oregon Department of Justice Consumer Complaint Board
as you are stopping me from knowing how much I have to pay to clear this contract so you can foreclose on my property.
You are holding my information form me, I'm asking you to send it to me in a timely manner, you said 3 days, it has been 3 days.
Did you recieve my 25.00 payment today towards the "late fees" ?
