I was providing marketing work for R & E Auto Repair. I entered the shop for a short period of time to familiarize myself with their procedures, but worked mostly from home. After claiming to send out a check, nothing arrived. Employer no longer answered the phone afterwards. Came in with no job and also spent money upfront for employer, and was not reimbursed.
I closed 5 confirmed sales, and was supposed to be paid a total of $620.54 considering costs and commissions. There are 5 unconfirmed leads as well, for which I cannot come up with an amount since the sale values were not reported. I do, however, have the details, including name and contact numbers of customers, and invoice details, which will be provided in the private message to protect the customers.
In conclusion, Mr. Elad Tewis, the shop owner, is over two weeks late on the payment and the phone was not answered. My best option appears to be to file a claim.
P.S. Employer also insisted on wiring payment or providing prepaid debit cards instead of regular paper check mailed with an envelope stamped with my information (stamps provided).
