QA Watches is a scam. They offer products for free and ask you to pay shipping and handling, then weeks later they go into your account and withdrawl money. They have one specific site I am aware of located on amazon, and it flashes on appearing to be associated with Amazon, and ask you to take a survey. It claims you will be rewarded if you participate in the survey, and will be offered a free gift, right after the survey. After you complete the survey, you are to click on the next page, and it takes you to roughly five items you can chose from. At this point it only states that you will have to pay for shipping. Nothing more is posted. It states you will recieve your item in about five days. Although you do recieve the item in about five days, and you are charged for examplt $5.99 for the shipping and handling, within about two weeks they charge your card again for example $95.00 I contacted them on this issue, and they claim that I signed up for a ""club"" which after wo weeks will charge me the $95.00 asnd continue to send more watchesd as time goes by. You are suppose to send these watches back after that time period to no longer be charged. No where on the Amazon pop-up does it ever say you are getting into some sort of indroductory offer thing. This is a total scam.
Qa watches posted a survey and said to pick a prize at the end of the survay. I chose a watch and had to pay just shipping and handling. it was 4.99.
I have now received 8 watches and just realized when doing my bills that I'm being charged $49.99 per watch.
I call qa watches and spoke to Frank Romano. He was rude, saying that I wasn't able to follow his instructions for getting on their internet site. He was rude when telling me that I entered into an agreement when I chose the first watch.
I do not believe I entered into the agreement because how can a person do that without the knowledge that they are agreeing to. Very underhanded.
I asked to speak to Frank's supervisor, Mark, and Frank asked why. I said it was between me and Mark. He said if it's a complaint that Mark doesn't take complaints. "That's not his job."
He finally agreed to refund $49.99 for each of 2 watches if I send them back.
I am not a stupid person. I have a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. This was underhanded and shady in all ways.
I took a survey on Amazon.com upon completeing this survey I was offered four different items to choose from. These items were listed as free for completing this survey with the only cost to me was for shipping and handling. I choose a watch and was charged $5.99 for the shipping and handling. On December 02, 2014 a charge of $95.00 was on my bank statement from QA Watches. I called the number and was told that it was a call center that handles numerous companies. The man I spoke with stated that this was a fourteen day trial and that I had clicked on to the box agreeing to this. This is untrue, the only box that I clicked on to was one stating that I was 18 or older to take the survey. I asked for a refund and was told no, that this order had already been processed. I then was told that I would be receiving other watches due to this unseen agreement, I told them to cancel any future orders and that I would be filing a rip off report. I want my money back! I am also in the process of contacting Amazon.
I was going to use Amazon as far as I remember, and a survey poped out. It said I would be given a gift if I'd do the survey. After I did the survey I was given the chance to choice a watch (that was the gift) but I only was being asked to pay for shipping. so I entered my credit card. And I got the watch pretty soon. about two weeks later, I was charged for $95.00
Then about a week later they sent another one for $49.99 and charged it again to my credit card. I called them. They explained it was all in writing and that I agreed to subscribe for a repetitive delivery of a watch. They were willing to cancell my account. and return the second watch I received, vut I had to request a form to [email protected]. Then I requested the return form and they ansered my e-mail saying a non-sequitor answer that my acount was closed and no refunds are made. So, now they contradict with what they told me on the phone.
They (Athur Morgan QA Watches billing Dept also say that I can go to the www.qawatches.com/orders in order to see my order. But I never placed an order.
As a service would I take a survey about the bank I was useing and for doing so I could claim a free guift. I took the survey and was given a choice of five guifts of which none was a watch. I just had to pay shipping, and the watch would arrive in five days. The watch arrived with no instructions or promotional corespondance within the 5 days. Then about 3 weeks later $95.00 is taken from your bank account. On calling QAWatches you are told you agreed to joining a watch club and charged the fee of $95.00. I never received anythink stating I was joining such a club or that anymore money was needed other then the 5.00 shipping fee.
Sent me a watch and I never oked any purchase on my card. Checking bank account now to see how long they have been at this cancled my card. Sending product back. Total scam
