So we were all excited about the new house we were planing on buying. We worked with the sales consultant for 2 weeks for the pricing and with so many upgrades, we ended up with 385000. Sales consultant said we are good and that was the final pricing nothing will change. We decided to take a few options off and were happy with about 360000. There was such a lot of pressure on us with consultant saying the prices are going up but we can have our pricing. So finally we went there to sign the paper work with check of required 30000. Lone behold, the sales rep says oh I am sorry I forgot to add a line item, and she added additional 8900 $ for removing the egress window and adding the window.
I told her that she has been working for so long she should have known all this. But she rudely said that it was an honest mistake, Take it or leave it. That she had alteast 2 other people waiting for that lot. She started screaming almost, as if she was doing a favor. Then she added additional cost for things that she gave us to understand as standard. I have her original pricing sheet with me. Nothing mattered at that point for her. I thought she wanted me at a 371000 price point.
Any way Pulte guys do this bait and switch with the pricing through out and I would suggest you need to stay away from them. They are rude especially to certain class of immigrants.
