This company does not use good business practices and is completely unprofessional. My 16 year old son was excited about the possibility of making good money aerating lawns. He worked a total of 2 days, 14 hours each day. He only got one customer each day ($30 total for 28 hours of work). The worst part about this company is they require their ""independent contractors"" (many teenagers) to ask customers to use the bathrooms in their homes.
No one can go 14 hours without using a restroom and it is unimaginable that they would require teenagers to ask complete strangers to go into their homes and use their bathrooms. The first day, an employee of Property Stars USA picked up my son and took him to a store to use the bathroom after my son had gone two hours asking complete strangers to use their bathroom (and he got refused time and again). The second day, he was so traumatized about having to do this, he didn't ask anyone, and was told he that was the only way he could use a bathroom.
He went 13 hours without using a restroom and was in serious discomfort. How can any company require their employees to go into strangers' homes? This is ridiculous and criminal. As a homeowner myself, I would never let a complete stranger come in and use my restroom. Is this not putting both male and female adolesecents in a potential situation of serious harm? I was flabbergasted that this company would have this policy. This needs to change!
