They can NOT make a dress like the ones they have posted. This is false advertisement. My prom dress looks completely different from the one I ordered. Not only am I embarrassed to enter prom like this I don't want to go at all. It's not at all how I imagined it to be. I wouldn't recommend anyone to order from them.
Prom Hope has a huge very attractive website with hundreds of dresses. Don't be fooled!! They claim they can custom-make a prom dress in a few weeks. You provide the measurements on-line, pick the dress and color and provide credit card payment. The site says you will receive an email confirmation.
I ordered my daughter's first prom dress eight days ago and I have yet to receive the email confirmation. When I attempted to contact Prom Hope five days ago much to my dismay they have NO phone numbers. I checked our on-line account with Prom Hope which informed me we did NOT have any pending orders. Called my credit card company and of course I have been charged $197.99 for the dress and expedited shipping even though the site assured me we would receive the dress approximately 3 weeks before our scheduled prom. The site shows an option for "Live Chat"but it doesn't work. The site instructs us to communicate by email and that "all emails will be answered within 24 hours". I have emailed this company EIGHT times and have yet to receive a response.
We are now in a terrible dilemma. It is now too late to order a dress from a legitimate company and of course, we don't know whether this dress will come or not. I would much prefer that Prom Hope email me back and say "too bad sucker, you have been scammed". At least we would know what options we have at that point in time.
It makes me so angry that a company can get away with this. DO NOT order from this company. They are not honest nor do they honor the statements they make in their website.
Tell everyone looking for a prom dress NOT to use this company. My daughter is heartbroken as we most likely will be unable to find her a prom dress at this late date and not only are we out the nearly $200 that Prom Hope ripped us off for we are also out the $50.00 for the prom ticket.
