I am writing to file a claim against Pro Scuba located at 5757 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77057. This vendor sold me an Oceanic Mask which leaked and I was almost killed in the ocean; He sold me a pair of booties with different sizes: left foot size 7 and right foot size 6. I was wearing this Oceanic mask, snorkeling in Hawaii in April, 2014. The mask kept leaking and I would have drowned if not helped by other swimmers. The booties sold to me were not the same size: left foot was size 7 and right foot was size 6. Since 2010, I had tried at least 20 times in phone calls, person visits, emails to solve these issues, but nothing was done.
I paid Henry Lo back in 2009 and the actual charge happened back in October, 2010. During that time, I have contacted Henry no less than 20 times. During 2009 – 2010, I didn’t know that the Better Business Bureau was an option, and I tried to sort this with Henry directly to get a refund.
Henry didn’t give me any refund or store credit. Since all the scuba gear was left with Henry from 2009 – 2010, Henry rented them out for his classes. In October, 2010, when I was leaving Houston, TX and returned back to NYC and believed that I had no way to get anything recovered from Henry except to pick the gear, and I found Henry Lo had rented my gear which was now extensively worn and used.
Until 2013, I thought I could have sorted this matter with the help of BBB. I would have drowned without the help of other swimmer nearby, and I wanted to raise awareness of Henry Lo, a businessman with poor moral character.
