If I could rate this dealership less than poor, that would be more accurate. Less than a month ago, I went shopping for a VW Beetle. I found just the right one that I thought would be the right purchase for my needs there, so I applied for financing with my salesperson. I was shortly thereafter told congratulation...s on my approval. Then it got weird. I had a long wait, to see what the next step was. after approx. an hr. of sitting with the sales member, I was approached by a couple of other people, saying they had a couple of question. One of those individuals was the finance manager. I waited for about another hr., only to be told they had to do some mechanical work on the car to get it ready for me to take home later that day. that was saturday. I was told late on sat., that it would be monday before financing could be squared away. during the course of the day monday, i inquired several times, but no return calls were forthcoming. finally mid-day on tues. the finance manager called to say that everything was approved and they had a bonafide lender. he indicated all he needed to do was have me return to sign more paperwork, i said thank you, i'm on my way. this was approx. 6pm on tues evening. again, i waited for about 2 hrs. and was dismissed by the salesperson, whom he told that i had come in too late, and someone else had a deal working and he couldn't talk to me now. wed. mind you 5 full days later, i again went after work to the dealership, and after a long ordeal i drove the care home.

Immediately upon driving off the lot, it was apparent the radio did not work. the radio was also equpped with satelite capability.

The next day i called the saleteam to report that my radio was broken. they said bring it in to the service dept. on sat. and they could look it over. I did as i was told, and again there was no resolution offered, and i sat again for 2 hrs. before I was yet again dismissed and sent home.

for a solid week i called everyday to ask how they would resolve this issue.

I finally got a call back from the general manager who told me they he had a contact at Audio Express, and i could take it there for them to look at, and he confirmed that they would cover this repair and or install of new operable equipment.

i went to audio express the following sat., and they said it would be costly to fix and that they would be able to do it that day. I said fine, how about i make an appt. for tues, and i'll drop it off on monday evening after work.

when i went to pick up my car yesterday, the audio store informed me that they would need to install a new radio but didn't think they could put in a satelite able radio, because he only was told to install a standard radio. this in spite of the fact i brought the vehicle in with a satelite radio.

today i got a call from my salesmember and was left a message saying i was just out of luck and they were not going to pay for the satelite radio, only a substandard version.

this is entirely unacceptable.

I called Priority and was advised that the sale member was off work, i was advised that the general manager was off work, i was finally given to the sales manager, and i explained the only reasonable expectation on my part was to have the radio replaced with an equivalent radio. i was denied, and told they had gone above and beyond, and wouldn't cover it.

I feel that i was disrespected, lied too, railroaded, and taken advantage of.

I will now contact 12 on your side, the beatter business bureau, yelp, etc., and my attorney.

I will never purchase from Colonial Heights Priority VW again.

This is the worst operation I have ever encountered in all my many yrs. of being a Priority customer.
