I purchased a Belle 2piece sectional on Nov. 8, 2014 When it was delivered the boxes were opened to be examined. The delivery man seemed very anxious to leave so he insisted that I sign the delivery form in order for it to be released to me. As I begin to remove the parts, hardward and the furniture from the boxes and begin to assemble the couch I then only noticed that the stitching had come undone. I took photos and contacted the service department and the store.
I was instructed to email the service department in which I did not get a reply back with in weeks of me forwarding and inquiring about the status. When I finally reached a person the female I talked to replied, "why did you wait a week later to make this complaint".
End result they did not offer any solution other than I should have inspected the merchandise thoroughly before signing the form. Moreover, when I explained how hastily the delivery guy was trying to get me to inspect and sign the release form; little time was offered to completely remove all the plastic and packaging of the furniture to notice the stitching undone.
I begin to then offer suggestions such as having a seamtress come and repair the damages but my suggestions went unanswered and ignored.I was also instructed that there was nothing that could be done because I signed the release form. Even after I was instructed to send photos.
