My family and I were impressed with everyone we met who works for Premiere!
Michael David, Kartika, Dru, so many people that demonstrated genuine interest in my daughter and her success.
We had a tremendous week in Orlando and each and every activity was planned out to the last detail. This entire process has been a tad bit overwhelming but I couldn't have asked for anything better for my daughter's long term confidence.
Traveled recently to Orlando for the big Premiere Event. My family and I went along to support my 14 year old son in his quest to discover his talents.
The buildup to the event in Orlando was huge and by the time we arrived we were just wanted to breathe a sigh of relief. Then the week of events started and we were immediately thrown into a whirlwind of awesomeness.
My son had a terrific time! He met others his age that were there for the same reason and made friendships for life. His understanding, and mine for that matter,of the entertainment industry was enhanced significantly.
Honestly, this whole experience was kind of like summer camp. There were an enormous amount of well organized activities and opportunities during the week. My son got to interact with celebrities and other people from the entertainment industry. There were workshops and fun events for all the participants and their families.
The staff at Premiere is first rate and super organized. Michael David hosted the large group events and did a wonderful job at inserting advice, his own knowledge, and a lot of levity.
We were pleased with our time at Premiere and with what it provided our son.
The Premiere Event is a spectacular experience for your entire family. The professional and courteous way that the Premiere staff engages you will not only enhance your overall experience, but will allow your children to pursue their entertainment dreams with confidence and passion. I am here in Orlando at the Premiere Event right now and my daughter, Chloe Moore, is gaining such valuable experience from wonderful people who really want to see her succeed. I STRONGLY urge any family with children who have aspirations for the entertainment arts to get involved with Premiere Event. It's a life changing experience.
I have found that the majority of people that say Premiere Even is a scam are those that went with certain expectations and then those expectations weren't met somehow. All I know is that my daughter had a terrific experience in every stage of the process with Premiere event.
Here is a review from one of the dads I met at the July 2014 Premiere Event. http://www.premiereeventscam.com
Life sometimes takes unexpected turns. One day you find yourself sitting in a large ballroom with a couple hundred other people and wonder "How did I get here?" The next thing you know, your daughter has the biggest smile on her face because she is one of a select few who has been chosen for an opportunity of a lifetime and a chance to make her dreams come true! Dancing, acting, modeling - Oh my!!
Now we are getting ready for the big week in Orlando and couldn't be more excited! Thanks to Dru for all the feedback and advice so far. We are eager to meet all the staff and celebrities in July! Wish us luck!
"The" "The Event" "Premier Event"....what do they all have in common? They are the same company that keeps changing its name so that the bad press doesn't follow them. They aren't a total scam because of the rhetoric used in saying they aren't talent scouts, and can't guarantee employment of any kind for your child. BUT, they do make it seem EXTREMELY easy to get on TV or represented by the large entertainment companies like Nick and Disney. They play on people's emotions to get you to sign up for very limiting contracts and non-refundable down payments of thousands of dollars in some cases. Michael Palance is a total egomaniac who wants to keep living his actor fantasy. There are plenty of good people who get caught up in his money making scheme, from the parents, employees who don't really know whats going on, paid actors and directors who are unaware of what type of cost is being placed as the participants; but most of all, the children. I have worked on the bottom level answering phones for the telethons they put on after the radio or tv ads air, scouted talent, and even travel to some weekend "auditions". I have a Bachelors of Music in Performance with minor in Music business, they did not want to me evaluate the children in a literal sense ever, just pass along my findings to Michael or whoever was in charge of the "auditions" that weekend.
I can't tell you how many nights I was kept awake thinking about if I was morally doing the right thing working for a "company" that takes advantage of people's dream and aspirations and uses them for financial gain, most of those dreams being childrens and most of the money being their parents or grandparents. I still know a few "friends" who work for this organization and can't say anything negative about them.
So yes, people do misunderstand what they are paying for when they do these auditions, but that is by design. You wonder why there is no bad press on Google or any other search engine when you first search "Premier Event"? Because they pay different web advertisers and Google Ad Words to make sure they control what shows up when you put in their information.
I will end this with a few links for your viewing pleasure. Do your research, and double check it.

The Premiere Event is a total scam. They broadcaste the event on the radio that there is a free audition for a commercial and have a chance to be on Disney.
I took my son to the audition in Chattanooga TN last saturday. when we got there they handed him a commercial part and me a paper to fill out. We were at this nice Hotel and the audition took place in the ballroom. First they have us watch a presentation about the Premiere Event and how you will meet these famous people and have a chance to be on tv. Well we get in line and talk to this man. Literally he told us the exact same thing to my son as he said to the person in front of me. They really were good actors at being fake and foney.
My son goes in front of a camera and his face is up on the big screen. Well my son did amazing and we only did this just because it was free and close to home and to see if he is any good at this stuff. So he has NO experiance. Well they told everyone that they will ONLY call if your child has a spot and got excepted to go to this event. Well we left and you know i was excited at first but on my way home i did some research and apparently this event used to be called The Event.
How i put those pieces together was when i watched some of the youtube videos this one girl was taping about how this is a scam and she went up to one of the employee and it was a tall white female with short blonde hair and it was slicked back and she had on a black dress. Well that woman was at the audition i went too. So i thought is was kind of stranged.
Well i pretty much had it in my head that these people are for sure going to give my son the call back. On their website they say they are only looking for high experiance kids and blah blah. Well the next day i emailed them which they tell you too and sure enough 15 min later they call my husband. Well we already came to a conclusion that they were a scam. They started asking about my son and if we talked about the money stuff and he just called them out on being a scam.
Well the man got really defensive and getting mad and my husband said well were not interested and the man said that they were not interested in our son and thats why they are calling even tho they only call the ones who they want??? Hmmm. All it is, is a money scam. they tell you they want you and you are great and you have to pay them so much money up front to go and it ends up not being what it really is.
I shared my story because i do not want the same thing that happen to me to happen to another innocent person and to crush a childs dream. luckily my son did not really care he just saw it has something fun to do.
Unprofessional and "coaching" sessions are a joke. Supposed talent coach set up a session via Skype and never made contact. When the supposed manager of the talent relations was made aware of the issue instead of rectifying the situation he sung the praises of the agent and suggested that my child should not attend the event. This is not the customer service/customer relations to be given to a family who has paid over $2,000 for the services of the agency.
They scammed me out 1100dollars said they was gona refund it to me and never did even sent txt and email saying the amount to be refunded and everything i got nothing thanks alit i work hard for my money as im a single father of 3 boys ..
