I have had Precision Flooring out to our home twice to install hardwood flooring. The first time everything was fine. This last time I had a much smaller area to install and they came out to do an estimate. I was told there would be a minimum charge of $500, even though there was only about a hundred square feet to do. I agreed, but was a little POed that no consideration was given to the large amount of work I had given them in the past.
Anyway they told me they were very busy, but could get us done the following week. We agreed to a date and time, but a day or to prior to that date, they called to reschedule. They rescheduled for the week after on a monday, 9:00am. My wife sat at home waiting for the installer- who of course never showed. I contacted these guys and they tell me "sorry, but we're overbooked." The guy then proceeds to tell me that the owner of the company ( named J**l) had tried to call me the weekend prior to reschedule again. TOTAL LIE. I had missed no calls, nor received any messages/voicemails.
Despite the lie, I proceed to tell them that we have company coming in the following weekend, and I just need it done that week. They tell me, sorry, booked up. By then I'm getting the impression they are just not interested in completing the work on our home.
Finally I just cancelled the deal, despite the fact that we have company coming to stay with us. l just rebooked with another company. I refuse to do business with companies that cannot keep their promises, then attempt to lie to cover them up. Even more scary is the lying came right from the top.
