I agree with the other complaints! My experience was the same.
They got my camera in May and they didn't even let me know it got there. I kept trying to check the status which didn't give me much information. Calling is horrible as you sit on hold.
Low and behold, someone picks up and knows nothing about my camera. Aparantly it didn't get logged in correctly. No apology after waiting months, just an employee who found this to be do funny that she had to put me on hold because she couldn't stop laughing. I asked for a manager and they said no manager was available at this time or at any time that I called. I made close to a dozen calls to them.
Then they finally look at my camera and quote me more than twice what their website quoted me to fix the camera. It just had a lens error because my lens was stuck. They gave me the story that they were going to have to send it out to another place and that is why it would cost so much. Why is that my problem, I sent it to them.
I refused what would have been a $250 bill on a camera that was maybe worth half. They billed me anyways for looking at it yet they wouldn't honor their price their site provided to me.
So I get back somebody else's camera now, where is my camera? I complained again and they refused to help me saying that it should have been my camera and even so, my camera didn't work anyway and the one they sent me is likely a better camera.
I'm still waiting for the manager to call me who never returns calls. Don't send any camera to this place. They are worse than poor and I wish I could give them no stars!
I am so angry. I made the mistake of sending my camera to Precision Camera. They literally had my camera for more than four months fixing it With no communication. When I emailed them they didn't reply. When I would call I'd just be left on hold.
After stsying on them they did finally send back a camera to me. Not my camera but a camera. I tried to call but I say on hold when finally some immature female picks up and refused to help telling me I got my camera back and that's what I sent to them. I requested a manager come on the phone but that never happened.
Figuring I was stuck with this camera I went to best buy to purchase a battery for it because my original battery didn't fit it. i bought a battery for $40 only to find out this camera didn't work. The salesman showed my the camera was even missing a screw in the bottom and the on the side it had a screw in there that didn't even look as though it was for this camera.
I tried emailing for a manager and nobody responded. So I called back and they said to send the camera back with the battery and receipt and they'd give me back the $40 for the battery and find my original camera and send it. I was doubtful but I tried to give them a second chance to fix things.
Weeks go buy with no communication and no response to my emails. I get someone on the phone who says I sent them a different camera and it had water damage. You've got to be kidding me I said. I explained this is what I got back. They wouldn't listen and they wanted more than $200 to repair it. I was so angry now so I yelled and said to just send back my camera and give me a refund. Forgot to mention that I was quoted $120 and after they got my camera it went to $250. Supposedly my original camera got wet too.
So then I get back the same incorrect camera without the $40 battery that I bought from best buy and that original $250 charge on my credit card.
I can't stress how bad this place sucks! I've been at this for a year already and I've given up.
Does anyone know who I can get help from for this. They have a pattern of this from reading other complaints.
does anyone know if the Better Business Bureau would be able to take a case like mine.
I am so mad and so angry. Their service is so pathetic! There's a woman their with an attitude from hell.
Youve been cautioned about these repair people. I regret ever trying them out.
