Beware of the slick talk about people searching on the Internet for information about your insurance services. Actually all leads received were either rude crude and wanted nothing or they were contacted solicited told not interested and all sold to me and three other agents. They did credit but Ienough was enough it was negative advertising for my agency as it appeared I was a scam artist. I did turn over to my credit card company and hopefully will be refunded.
I am an insurance agent and decided to try Precise leads as a lead source. I wanted to call the prospects as soon as they submitted a request for quote. Precise leads had a minimum deposit of $300. I began receiving leads on March 1st. The leads were coming in the middle of the night which made it impossible to call them immediately as I wanted to do so I emailed Ashley Essig, my account rep to cancel on March 3rd. She contacted me and offered to have them come in a certain times of the day (which they had originally told me they couldn't do) and to lower my autobill to $100 which I agreed to try. This still was not working out the way I wanted so on March 12 I emailed Ashley again to cancel. Their cancellation policy is that you do not receive a refund but keep receiving leads until your funds run out. I received my last leads on March 16th and on March 23rd someone named Bo called me from Precise Leads and offered to fix some things on the filters and give me credits if would I be willing to try again. I said yes but told him that I did not want them charging my credit card again without my consent. On April 6 they charged my credit card for another $100.
I contacted Ashley and explained that I had explicitly told Bo not to charge my credit card without my permission and she said she would have Bo call me. Hours later I still did not hear from Bo so I sent Ashley another email stating that I wanted my account cancelled and I wanted the $100 refunded to my credit card.
Tom the manager calls me a few minutes later and tells me that because I had logged in and agreed to the $100 "rebill" on March 3rd (Before I tried to cancel AGAIN) that they would not refund my credit card but would give me the $97 worth of leads I had left. He said that in Bo's notes he did not state that I had told him to cancel the rebill so he would not process the credit. He refused to listen to me and just kept stating that I had agreed and would not be receiving a credit.
I had agreed to the $100 rebill on March 6th, then I tried to cancel again on March 12 and was talked into trying it again by this Bo person which I only agreed to if they wouldn't charge my credit card without my consent! Which they did!
I'm an insurance agent in Portland, Oregon. Was contacted by Precise Leads to purchase Life Insurance Leads. I can only say it's a complete waste of money, time, & effort. DON'T BUY LIFE LEADS FROM THIS COMPANY. They say these leads are from internet inquires. Most of the leads have incorrect phone numbers, incorrect email addresses. And if the contact information happens to be correct, the lead has no interest in Life Insurance. I wasted $443.65 and didn't get ONE decent lead.
They have a return lead policy. But they have to approve any returned leads. So, not every lead you think you should get credit for will be returned or credited back to you. I had 3 additional credits on my account after spending $443.65 but unless I gave them more money, they would not honor giving me 3 additional leads for the credit noted on my account. I've cancelled services effective 1/2/15, spent $443.65, and don't have one decent lead. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Buyer beware! Precise Leads charged me $19.99 for account set up and we agreed on 1 exclusive final expense lead per week. The salesmen, at Precise Leads, insited that I could get more for my money by buying shared leads instead of exclusive leads. I declined and he said not to worry, because, "their leads would blow my socks off". After 1 month of waiting, I have not received 1 single lead.
I called Precise Leads and told them that I wanted my $19.99, out of principle. They mentioned that if I switched to buying shared leads I could probably start seeing some results. Of course, I said no and in turn they said no to me getting a refund.
Agents beware! I do not recommend Precise Leads to any agent looking to buy internet leads. Go elsewhere.
This company claims to have "quality-based, verified, real-time leads" but once you receive the leads, In my case--auto leads, they were the opposite. I received numerous leads which I had to returned back for credit and all were approved. There were false numbers belongingto the wrong person,a woman who was apparently(and admitted herself disabled)whom was senile or had a mental disability to purchase auto insurance and had a speech delay which prevented any kind of communication with her, disconnected numbers, someone who doesn't speak English, leads who were not interested, and leads who made auto inquiries weeks ago.
Now, thiis is what really made me certain this company is acting upon unethical and fradulent ways: they do NOT disclose (from the getgo or when you ask about the deposit you're making)that your deposit in any amount is non-refundable. Instead, after you have tested the leads you receive and your account is almost depleted, they tell you they will send you leads for the remaining balance you have left. Seriously? Why would I want any more leads from this company that sent me non-qualifying leads in the first place?honestly, why would I go further with any more leads? I was not able to make one sale because my leads werent any where remotely interested in an auto quote or capable of communicating.
precise leads.com'a reps will tell you whatver you want to hear, and your leads are shared not by 3 other agents but ny 5-8. They will not refund any of your money back. and, your bank will not dispite this case because somewhere on their website claims the money is not refundable.
to agents out there looking for a credible company to try out, pass on this one and go with another company.
I contacted Precise Leads to learn about how their leads were generated as I am an Insurance Agent and was looking for quality leads. The salesman who I spoke to assured me that the leads they provided were different from any other internet based lead supplier. I was specifically interested in purchasing Life Insurance leads. The salesman said that Precise Leads was different in that a prospect would have to be searching for Life Insurance quotes from a search engine in order to be connected to one of their websites. For this reason I was suppose to only receive good leads. The salesman referenced other companies like Bankrate (A decent company in my opinion) that generate leads from internet based video games where the person is not even interested in insurance. He assured me Precise Leads was different. I personally use other companies for Auto and Home internet leads so I know how the game works and that not every lead you contact will be red hot. I agreed to the Precise Leads $100 deposit that was non-refundable and agreed to use that for the $12.00 leads. After the $100 had been used they would then charge my card again (This would never happen as I cancelled before this charge could occur).
First of all the Leads were complete garbarge and below average quality compared to the thousands of leads I have worked. I was planning on cancelling their service when my $100 ran out but the last lead was certainly an indication that I was making the right choice. The last lead I received from Precise came in simultaneously with a duplicate lead.... from another company but a different line of insurance. This should not have happened according to the salesperson who sold me the account. When I brought this discrepency to Precise Leads attention the represenative said that people often search for internet quotes at the same time and that could have caused the issue. Is this a possible explaination for this occurance, yes. Do I believe this explaination, no. Coupled with how terrible the leads were they would have gotten cancelled anyway. But if you are considering using this company heed the advise of the many complaints on this company and STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
