An employee named Michael at this location opened a package I was mailing overseas. The package was perfectly wrapped and addressed and was simply a pair of pants and shirt, no media mail. I was using a recycled box, because I believe strongly in recycling and I do a lot of mailing. I paid for my service ( $25.00 ) and left, a week later my package arrived back at my door and had a note on it on his handwriting, I recognized it from previous transactions, stating that it was not allowed to wrap boxes or recycle them in any way. I was horrified!! Not only had my package not went out when I paid for it to but this rude man had unwrapped my package and opened it!! I know because the contents where neatly wrapped in paper and when I opened the crudley retaped box my items where not as the had been and there was a black mark on the pants that had not been there before, the whole package was covered in black smudges and stains. This ignorant man cost me a very important transaction since there is no way my package can get there on time now. I had no idea that people thought they had the right to open your personal property just because they are ringing up a transaction for you. If he did not have any intention of mailing my package when I paid that day or was unhapy with the packaging then I should have been told that and I would have made other arrangments with UPs or someone. I cannot tell you how upset and hurt I am by all of this!
