We placed an order for a transmission, original quote was $535.00. Card was charged $555.50. I called and asked what the extra $20.50 was for and he said shipping. I told him he should have called to let me know before just charging my card for it.
He called back later stating the transmission he quoted me was for a 6 cylinder engine knowing I needed a transmission for a 4 cylinder engine. He said he would get a remanufactured one and just charge me the difference. I declined and asked for a refund. He said he would have the girl that does the refunds do it later because she wasn't there at the moment.
When I checked my credit card statement the next day he had shorted my refund $100.00. I called the credit card company and opened a dispute and called Poor Me Inc. as well. He stated his account was running low and he didn't have the funds to give me the other $100.00 that he had previously charged me. So informed him that I had opened a dispute with my credit card company. I told him I would give him until the next business day to refund my money. He called back about 10 minutes later and said it was taken care of. I guess we will find out tomorrow if it post to my card as it is not showing in the pending charges as of yet.
Summation of the story: He took my money, did not provide any goods and couldn't provide the right goods. When asked for a refund he tried his best to swindle me out of $100.00 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!
Sent out a search request on a national parts search engine. Charles from Poorme Sales calls me the following day(Saturday) saying he has the part and it's in California. Ok, well can it be here before the end of the week I ask him and he says yes. He charges me for the part and shipping by the time I hang up the phone.
Along about Tuesday I give Charles a call to find out where the part is and he doesn't remember talking to me but he will look into it. I call back Wednesday and he still knows nothing, can't give me a tracking number or any idea on when or where the part is.
I told Charles to cancel the order and refund my credit card. He states he has no ability to refund my credit card and that he will put me a check in the mail that day. Even thru the post office it should have been here no later than Friday or Saturday. I'm only 2 states away.
The check doesn't show by Saturday so I give him a call. He says the paperwork is in another office and he will have to get with that office to find the paperwork and to see if he can send me a check. I call him back later that day and promises a money order to me to be in the mail on Monday. Again the check doesn't show.
I call the credit card company and placed a dispute on the charge telling the credit card company what had happened.
Today, Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 I get a call from Charles at Poorme Sales cussing me out, calling me names, and a whole host of vulgarities saying that I am double dipping trying to get a check from him and money back thru the credit card company.
Sorry Charlie, it's called protecting my investment from a scumbag, ripoof, thieving so called business man such as yourself.

You belong in jail, not in business.
