I had listed my 2013 Mercedes C250 Coupe on Swap-a-lease for a few months when I was contacted by Mark (Mike) Williams. He said that he would find a "user" for my car and would guarentee payment. A couple of days later my car was picked up and an agreement was signed. A week or so later I received an email stating the car had been leased. The email contained the user's information and insurance documents, all initially seemed legit. However this is also where it fell apart. First payment became due and it was not paid per the agreement. I started reaching out to Mark/Mike and he made up a ton of excuses as to why it hadnt been made, then he stopped accepting my calls all together. I called the user agreed to make the payment the following day. The payment was made and all was well for a few weeks. A couple of weeks later I received a letter in the mail stating that my car was not currently insured. The user had not paid the initial premium payment, therefore the policy was void. Of courcse I contacted Mark/Mike and he was clueless as to what happened or how, but assured me all would be taken care of. Numerous calls, text and emails later to no surprise Mark/Mike has vanished. My car out there with no insurance and car payment due. I decided that I had enough, activated Mbrace and located my vehicle. The shocker of the day...my car was located in Detroit Michigan. I contacted the police and waiting for them to recover it. Keeping my fingers crossed that no damage was done.
Someone might ask, "how could she be so foolish"? This company seemed legit. There was no bad reports online and all of the paperwork appeared in order. Mark/Mike is very attentive until he gets your car, then he is always in a meeting and busy.

So I called BMW and they found my car 800 miles away. I now have to deal with BMW for breach of my leasing contract and have a repossession on my record. This is costing my thousands of dollars and loss of my prestine credit. I may have to pay full cost of my $60,000 lease and still have a repossession on my credit. I never thought I could be scammed.
