Hello, I am a police officer in California and just handled a scam involving this company. The victim attempted to obtain a loan and was told to purchase a prepaid card from Walmart and to relay the account information to the company. Unfortunately she did this and is now out $333. FYI, if a company is legit, they will not ask you to send them money via a prepaid card. 99% of all scams request the same thing.
I keep getting phone calls from this place and after screaming and yelling after 17 calls in 20 mins , I decided to look here . My husband , who the loan was for , stated that he needed their information so he could discuss with me and he would call them back , she said she couldn't give that she would call us back . I called a number listed here and it was a victim of these people !!!! She was in Oregon and she had just lost a son and she also stated that she is 2800.00 overdrawn on her account with a 3 day eviction notice with 3 boys . Please people , DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING !!!!!!
Thank you very much I thought it was and am glad I checked it out before I done it I can't believe ppl try this crap I live on disability benefits and can't imagine what I would do if they hit my account it empty right now but will be changed to new account tomorrow so they don't have any info. Again thx
What office are u from. I read your commit online and want to know if you can give me some info about this scam. I just got a call from Chris Gardner from Planned Payday and he wants to give me a loan but said that I need to go to walmart and get a prepaid card and send them somemoney. Here's the info they gave me. Planned Payday at 2626 S Loop West Houston Texas 77054. Phone numbers 4694440095 & 4694440090. Can you please check into this and let me know if it's true. Thank You
When being rushed by by unsecured personal loan scam sites
Try this technique. When they contact you or you contact them and an agent starts their process with you, and before or immediately after you have been referred to a supervisor or financial officer or account manager, interrupt the process, and tell them assertively that you have one question for them, and that question is: "Now, after we get all the way to this qualifying procedure, at the end are you are probably going to suggest that I send you proof of my ability to pay my monthly installments, call it a security measure, a guarantee, whatever--so, how much would you want from me to do that?" If you want to see someone jump through hoops fast, hang up on you, attempt to reassure you that you will get that initial deposit back, or you could use it for an initial payment, then try this experiment. You'll be satisfied with the results! And you will not have been "taken" or scammed!
Watch out for "security procedure" deposits with PlannedPayday and others
I managed to catch this before I got stupid about using Planned Payday out of the same address in Houston, TX. How could I send a boughten GreenDot/MoneyGram/or Walmart Card with cash when I was actually applying for needed cash. This outfit--plannedpayday.com--wanted a "security procedure" to be able to prove that I would be able to handle the monthly payments on an unsecured personal loan ($275.00--the agent was Daniel Watson); another company with the same format wanted the same kind of "assurance" for $125.00. It was good to connect with others on scamorg who discovered the same thing although for some a little late so that they were out their "assurance guarantee." Thanks for the opportunity to share.
I received a unsolicited phone call from this company. I was told that I qualified for a loan from $1,000-5,000. After attempting to understand the females Indian accent, and gave her basic information, I was put on hold to talk to a loan representative. A man who identified himself as Ronald Moody (with a really THICK Indian accent) tried to explain that I had to go to Wal-Mart and fill out an 'express payment' form, verifying that I was financially able to repay the loan, telling me that he would then have the amount deposited into my account within 10-20 minutes. I told my husband this and we HUNG up!! Hopefully this will help others
loan organics now operating under dba planned payday loan
When you search and apply online for payday loans, your information is repeatedly sold and you will be bombarded by solicitors with native Indian accents and phony American names. IT'S NOT A 3 STEP PROCESS...you will be endlessly routed to list of 'lenders' promising same false hope. Shane contacted me as polite as can be then transferred to his loan manager who proceeds to verify that I have all their company particulars. Constantly reading and from a script, he was unable to answer my direct questions. He wanted me to pay for insurance on unsecured loan by going to Walmart to verify identity and send $206 quickly reduced to $100. Caveat emptor, why pay a deposit or insurance...unsecure is unsecure; further if you had access to cash why apply for a personal loan.
I had that same call today and I was in a rush to look for a loan I just found out about this scam but it was too late for me so for anyone who looking for a loan don't go to this guys they will get you like they got me....BE CAREFUL
This indian person with a english name hollis jackson said i was approve for a 5k loan even with bad credit but i saw this web site and yes they are scam they have my info and everything well the can suck on it those thieves didn't answer that dude again cause the don't have a legitimacy and the phone number they gave me to contact them is a freaking skype number and they have no actual site... Omg scumbags.. To good to be true...
Avoid using Creative Market - particularly Ken Weaver and his online "shop" https://creativemarket.com/Melville
Ken Weaver regularly engages in acts of fraud - by helping a customer steal money from web designers, to committing it himself by closing people's shop for no reason other than that he's a big baby throwing a temper tantrum after being exposed as a scam artist (fyi, he doesn't give you the money you've earned when he closes your shop either. rumor has it he takes that money and uses it to buy crack cocaine), and of course, if you want your shop back online? you have to pay ken $2000 - obviously extortion.
Ken Weaver is a delusional psychopath and a scam artist. Creative Market is a joke of a website where you simply cannot make any money without the owners stealing it from you left and right.
my hubby just got scam for 400 n told us he need more to get us the money we qualify for please help us did anyone get thier money back talkin with them on phone now
I'm in a bit of a bad situation, but got this call and spoke with Randy the loan manager. He indicated I was approved for a $5000 loan, which was more than I wanted, and we agreed to $3000 (still more than I wanted.) After giving him all of my information, he went with the money gram scam. I told him I didn't believe that a legitimate company would need me to send money in order to get money, and that a payday loan of that amount, would usually get more interest than they were charging. The "unsecured fee" was "only" $300. he immediately reduced it to $150, and that once sent, my funds would be deposited in 5-10 minutes. Didn't feel right, so I hung up. They called back and asked if I could do $100, and I explained that I wouldn't send anything. He then hung up on me, and haven't heard from them since.
I was smart about it. I applied for a loan online and received a call from this company and they said everything everybody else is saying on this website but I didn't buy it. I had two other companies call me for loans I applied for asking me to do the same thing. I basically said to this company that if.I had any money I wouldn't ask for a loan.
My daughter gave them 250.00 for insurance fees on a loan promise of 5746.00. When it came to the dispatch dept, he wanted 500 more. Then when her mom got involved, he wanted 300 more and wanted the kids to od their bank account. He later said he would take 200 dollars then he would send the 5746.00. When asked for terms of the load to be faxed for personal use we were told that it was an over the phone service and that it wasn't possible. WoW!!!!!! Don't use these people. They ask for more money after they tell you you already can be released funds. We were also told that if we gave them the 200.00 more that they would release the funds in 60 seconds. At the bank in front of a representative, we asked if he would send the funds and we would promptly send him the 500.00 requested fees, and we were told it wasn't possible, get this, is because we were the recepient and not the sendie. Intellligent aren't they? Wow. No go guys. from fallon, nv.
Dear sir;THANK YOU SO MUCH for your reply to this scam! I'm from Cincinnati and I also received an unsolicited call from them and though I am somewhat desperate for money,I read between the lines and suspected something was "not right" with these guys. So I followed along with the story until they got to the part about going to Wal-Mart to get a prepaid card. I don't believe a legit company would ask you to do this so I immediately hung up on them. Had me going for a while though!
I got the same call as everyone else on this page. I was trying to get a loan and was told they would provide me with what I needed. They had all my information already and I thought they were legit for a minute or two. Then I decided to look them up and found this page. So thanks to everyone who wrote a complaint about these people and I am sorry for your losses.
I got a phone call from a Chris Garner saying I got approved and had to send them money for a wire transfer $300 and when I sent them that they call me asking for more money I new then it had to be a scam.
Think this website I didn't get scammed by this payday loan an Indian woman who I can barely under stand was talking to me and then told me she's going to switch me to her supervisor who's name is Jeff I told him that I want to be alone for $2000 and he told me that I was approved for a $5000 loan and I would only have to pay monthly installments of $363 for my loan a month afterwards so I said okay and then he told me I had to go to Walmart and send in $363 to a business company and then in five minutes my my $5000 will be in my account and he kept asking me is there anything else you want to ask me and then I said yes why do I have to go to Walmart and makes no sense he said because we have to inshore our money and make sure you are the person you say you are scams I told him I'm not going to be interested in doing it
