We hired this company, Weatherproof Energy Systems at a local home show, to install our new bay window. The window was ordered in April 2015 and it was installed in May 2015. The day the window was installed, we came home from work and found several things wrong. We imediatley called the salesman to let him know.
This bay window has a roof on it and the sides of the roof where it meets the house were not sealed but left with wide open spaces. The shingles on the window roof had a nail through it at the top to hold the shingles down. At the peak of the window where it meets the house had an opening roughly 6 inches long and about 3 inches high that was left completely open and not sealed. The the bead of caulk was hit or miss accross the entire bottom of the window.
We called several times and after a week got someone to come look at the window. They came and fixed the sides of the roof where it was open but never fixed the bead of caulk or the opening at the top of the window.
One week later we had a new roof put on the entire house. It rained very hard the next night and the window leaked. The leak was on the inside wall of the house where the wall and ceiling meet. This is the exact point that the window has a gaping opening outside that was not sealed. When we called the window people they of course blamed it on the roofer stating it was their fault. My husband contacted the roofer who agreed to meet the window people at the house to discuss the situation. Needless to say over the past 3 weeks, we have had 2 meetings set up that the roofer came to our home and waited 45 minutes to an hour and the window people never showed up or called.
The roofer came and resealed the skylight with Geocel including the frame of the skylight. We ran a garden house on the skylight for 1 hour non stop and no leaks. 2 days later it rained and again we hada leak inside the house at the exact same spot as the first leak. And the window outside at the peek is still not sealed.
We sent a picture of the wall where the leak was to the window people and of course they blamed the roofer once again. They have still not kept any appoinment to meet with our roofer. We have spoken with 2 different people, they never return calls or call when they dont show up. Now we find out that this company is actually owned by Pioneer Spray Foam, LLC.
Worst customer service we have ever recieved. The workmanship on putting this window in is even worse. Who puts nails through shingles on a roof?? Who leaves gaping openings and not seals them??
So disappointed in this company and wish I could just have them take out the window and give me my money back so I could hae someone else do it right.
