This company scammed my 75 year old mother out of a one time $5000 charge to her credit card- and her bank, BB&T, didn't even question the transaction. It was supposed to be an income making opportunity for her so she fell for the scam as many desperate elderly people do.It was a scam about putting credit card machines in different merchant's locations and she was supposed to earn the fees per transaction. She told them she didn't have a computer and they told her they would do everything for her. She tried and tried to get in touch with them and to no avail, her phone calls were ""accidentally disconnected"" and her letters were ""returned to sender, undeliverable"". I am upset with the scam in itself but also with her bank, BB&T for giving her a credit card with a $10k limit (she doesnt make much more than that annually with SSI) and then never questioning a one time charge of $5000 on her card. She never used the card before that.
