Kavan Klein and Pick that make cents is a service which offers market traders (day traders) education and a daily chat room to follow trades. I joined on an annual membership because it was the most economical option rather than a monthly fee for the service. I had received emails for months from picksthatmakecents.com describing the wild success of Kavan Klein and his trades. Calims of $1400 to $20,000 profits in a day and $30000 profits in a week and promises to show how Kavan Klein "consistently" makes over $250,000 per year with "his" method. I joined to see what Kavan Klein was doing and to see if his method really worked. Thank goodness I did NOT purchase his trading course for $2900...what an additional RIP OFF that would have been.
Bottom line is this: Everyday I traded using Kavan Kleins information and using the Picksthatmakecents.com chat room was a complete bust. Kavan would call out trades and say, "this thing is set up to explode. Then Kavan would provide an entry point and a stop loss trigger. I followed his trade, enterd at those exact entry points and ALWAYS got stopped out for a loss. Now I go to cancel and Picksthatmakecents.com and Kavan Klein choose to argue with me and offer to only "place my account on hold". Well, I don't want to be on hold. The service is worthless. Other tradeers in the chat room make better trades than Kavan Klein did during the time I was in the picksthatmakecents.com chat room. I have seen other traders comment in chat how much they were losing as well, so I know it wasn't just me. Kavan has a partner in crime by the name, Matt Loken. he has another individual (name was never disclosed to me) who was sending alerts via text messages and emails for what are known as "swing trades". This was touted by Picksthatmakecents.com as a value added to get these alerts. They would pick a stock and send the entry point, target price, and stop loass trigger. Of the 7 swing trade alerts I received, 1 and ONLY 1 was a winner. The rest were losers and big losers. Calling yourself a trading "educator" and calling out trades that are loser trades and then not refunding a prorated amount of the annual fee (which is what I requested) is poor business practice and borderline criminal.
Picksthatmakecents should be topped from marketing this service as "buy a membership now and have access to everything I am doing to make $250,000/year trading". That is a joke. The service is a joke and I am a sucker for falling for it. I hope this listing helps keep others from being lured in and scammed by Kavan Klein and Picksthatmakecents.com and his administrato, Matt L.
