I got locked out of my car and called a locksmith. I searched for "Nyberg Locksmith" and called the first thing that came up on Google. The man who answered the phone just said, "Services." I asked the man who answered if this was Nyberg Locksmith, he said it was. So they sent a man out. His phone number was 206-747-8874. He called me several times while I waited for an hour to say that he was almost there. When he arrived, he was in an unmarked vehicle and dressed rather unprofessionally so I asked to see credentials that he worked for Nyberg. He hemmed and hawed and said that he was a subcontractor from "24/7 Locksmith Services" and that Nyberg sent him the job. I looked up Nyberg Locksmith more carefully this time and called and they told me they had no record of my call. They also said they didn't do work on cars. When I hung up the phone the guy told me that it would cost $150 to open my car. Now I wasn't born yesterday, I know it only costs $50 or so, so I told him to get lost. He said that I still had to pay him $65 for a service call. I called the police. He warned me that he would put a lien on my car. This terrible experience is why I am leaving this here, to warn people in the future. Get the price over the phone, and ask how long it will take for the service man to get there. US 1 Locksmith Services is a scam! Educate yourself on the locksmith scam in this country.
same here..I Called for a price quote..got a different quote from the person that answered the phone than the technician. Also quoted me two different "service call fees". No thank you! Don't use this company..they also go under ProLockSmith.
