Ordered and charged to my credit card RVTL/Equinox skin care 14-day trial for $4.95 before reading terms. As soon as I read that automatic renewal would occur monthly I sent cancellation to customer service. Today, one week later, I received the products despite my email cancellation.
I called customer service number at bottom of website immediately and after lengthy wait was connected to representative. After not getting results asked for supervisor and was told by him to keep the products as a gift after a very argumentative conversation.
All I wanted was a return shipping label paid by the company and instead was treated off-handedly and told he didn't have time to talk to me! I had requested to speak with a U.S. customer representative and was told I had offended him by saying he was not in the U.S. Just hope my cc doesn't get charged again!
Signed up for what was advertised as a free sampleof RVTL and EQUINOX skin care, anti aging creams, paid the shipping fees. They never sent any samples (usually a small packet) as advertised. Instead, they sent full bottles and charged me $105.95 and $ 99.95. By the time these cahrges went through my account, they "had sent me more bottles" and were charging me again! I canceled my accouny but they said they could not reimburse me for what totals $400 plus for "free samples". I've ordered skin care products, free samples online before but never had this experience. This company needs to be heald accountable for their false advertising. It's wrong.
I ordered the anti-aging cream from this company online. I believed that I was ordering 2 free samples with shipping costs totalling @ $10.00
A few weeks later, I received a 1 ouce jar of RVTL anti aging cream. There was no receipt or invoice attached.
A couple of weeks later, I got my Visa bill. There was a charge from this company for $93.00 I was shocked and called. I've spoken with them a couple of times and gotten no where. They said they would take off my "monthly future charge", but not the current charge. I could not return the product according to them because it was past the 14 day return time.
I repeatedly asked to speak with a supervisor and was given every excuse why this couldn't happen. They also said that no one could calll me back.
I feel very foolish for having had anything to do with this obvious scam..to say nothing of being out of $93..which is a good amount of money for something I absolutely do not want.
Mostly, I hope this helps someone else avoid the same mistake and that this company gets in deep trouble for continuing to rip people off.
