I used pets at peace central west as it is the only pet cremorty in my area.

Starting from the beginning. I had lost my companion dog of 5 years, I called Shane who at the time was compassionatem we dropped the dog off as we like to give them their last ride in the car.

He comes out puts the dog on the table and you tell him what you want. Of course we live to pay tribute to our pets so we get the most expensive, where you dog feet are moulded and it is framed with the ashes behind the framing.

When we got the first dog back it looked like he had only moulded one foot my mistake, it was the way they had been laid out , so they looked aesthetically correct my dog had duck feet. Which I loved so having his feet done it would be a find reminder of this. When they were laid out the dew claws were on the outside, I have yet to meet a dog with dew claws on the outer side of their feet.

So I rang Shane and said there is something wrong he said email me, then after I emailed him he started getting abusive, he called me and said "some people will never be happy". I explained I just wanted his feet laid correctly as we had paid close to $850 for this to he done.

Three weeks ago I lost my older dog and of course he is the only one who services this area so we had to take our old girl for her last ride to him. He comes out with this face not impressed that we had shown up again, he puts latex gloves on. The dog was in a blanket she had put down due to old age, so when I saw those gloves I was insulted my dog didn't have anything that could effect him or his own pets.

I asked could he make sure that the frame people correctly laid out my old girls feet, at this time I was bawling like a banshee at the loss of my old girl. He starts abusing me saying he didn't like the email I sent accusing him of only moulding one foot, yet he didn't get the concept that the feet were laid out wrong so anyone would be confused if they looked at it. my partner who is more calmer said it's all done lets just sort this dog out.

We got her back and apparently everything was going to match the frame done for the first dog, they had all the details. The feet moulding is very different there is more detail. In one and I'm wondering if it is because he didn't use the gloss on the feet but a mat finish. The framing doesn't match the mats are varying in colour and the colour scheme is incorrect there was a pin stripe which is missing.

My partner called Shane to give him feed back only, I didn't want my dog going back to a framer when I am already grieving them having them away from me being framed ect is stressful enough. He didn't want the feedback he blamed the framer and told us he was going to refuse us and in the future to take our business elsewhere. If you are a pet owner and your pets are your family you too would be very dissatisfied with what you have received.

When people are grieving and the job or business this man has decided to run he has to deal with grieving people. He is fantastic in the beginning but if you dare complain he will rip your head off and be disgracefully rude to you. In times of grieve it takes many emotions he can't handle when there is a problem and as he has no completion he has the ability to refuse your services. This is disgusting service. It's like he got a thril out of abusing a pregnant and disabled person.

Where was this mans compassion when there is a mistake made? And what's with the comment "Some people will never be happy". If someone stuffed something up that you had done for a loved one your grief can be emotional you have no control over these emotions. I think Shane needs to learn customer skills, you don't abuse a person dropping a dog off whom simply asks can you make sure THEY do the feet right. It's obviously his mistake as he took it very personal.

My advice for Shane is have a heart these animals are peoples children and treating people rudely and being abrasive like this to grieving people is distasteful not compassionate at all.

We will be using a different service in the future, not only have we been told to by him but because the customer service was less than desirable considering why we were there in the first place, we weren't buying a TV we were doing a tribute to a beloved pet.
