I went to pep boys in hazlet to get rear brakes on my car i had a 400 pm appt i was told i would need a inspection first i had a free coupon for that so that was fine after the inspection the manager nick vernice came out and told me it would be 900 dollars to fix because my caliburs are no good and need to be replaced and with that and brakes the cheapest they can do is 900 dollars then he says i dont really trust u driving the car home but its your car i told him i do not have 900 now take the car out then he gives me bill for inspection i told him i have coupon for free inspection he says no i cant use it cause i didnt get brakes which there is no where on coupon it states that i fought with him and said i dont understand how its all that much money for this job and he says its labor and tax and he has to charge to bleed brakes which he already charged in brake package price after some more words with him he let me use the coupon cause i refused to pay and i left the next day i take my car to meieke to get a inspection they tell me that my caliburs they can save and and the whole job total is 270 dollars. Now how is this guy telling me 900 at pep boys but i payed 270 total at meieke pep boys manager nick vernice is a lier and trys to ripp people off do not go to pep boys in hazlet to get your car done total ripp off
