I called this company a few months back; this year; to move my personal belongs that were in a large container across the country. When I first inquired about them I submitted a request online and was then in contact with an agent. The agent gave me a privce of about $2,500; which i thought was fair, and I then proceeded forward. I was given a pick up date, time, and the same for delivery. I paid half upfront, about $1,200 from what I recall to have the driver come to the place of origin. Pick up was a late, but my things were picked up the following morning, so it was ok.
At delivery I met with the driver and I had the remainding $1,300 that PSUSA had requested for me to pay him. Driver was offended and told me that I owed him $6,400! I told him that he was mistaken but when I tried to call PSUSA of what occured no one would answer. When I finally was able to speak with my agent tied to my order, she claimed that she didn't work with the company and that she was a sub contractor! Seriously WTF?! I then attempted serveral times to call thier main line, email and requested contact via their website and got absolutley no where.
Long story short this is what I later found out: PSUSA gave me fake price. They then hired this "agent" to find a transport company that could be sub contracted and simply told me to pay teh $2,500. That fee (the 2.5k) was for PSUSA and the 6.4k was an ADDITIONAL charge that the carrier actually needed. What a Scam. Just unreal. It has been 3 months since this has occured and I am filing legal lawsuit against this company since I was given misinformation on the get go.
Don't be like me, do research on these guys, and keep your self protected.
