WATCH OUT for these people. Issues with payroll (underpayments, of course, never over), job offers, communication, you name it. They do not look out for the workers placed through them - many ""temp-to-hire"" placements that stay temp indefinitely, others dumped en masse by companies as their contracts end (naturally, once the companies are done with them). No regard for workers, it's all about the companies & the money. If you HAVE to accept work through these people, get out as fast as you can.
The payroll issues were not due to any error on the part of the employees; some were never resolved in spite of regular follow-up, and those that were took weeks to months to be resolved.
The indefinite temp placements that were presented as ""temp-to-hire"" were not isolated incidents - this was extremely common. One placement had other Peak employees who had been ""temp-to-hire"" but never hired for YEARS.
Multiple Peak employees' contracts were terminated but they received no further placements (although some were promised new placements or interviews ""soon"" that never materialized).
Peak fails to properly represent, advocate for, or place its workers. The behavior of Peak, its customer company, and Peak's representatives was shockingly unethical, and legally questionable.
I hope this review helps others avoid being taken advantage of by this company. Potential employees, and any ethical companies considering using Peak services, should be aware that to Peak, the ""customer"" always means the CORPORATE customer - Peak's placed employees are considered disposable.
