I got a cold call from a guy who said he was a Microsoft Rep and I had errors on my PC he had to fix on the Global Server. I believed him and gave him access through Teamviewer. I became suspicious after a while and shut down my PC. He called back and insisted we continue. I said no Because I think this is a scam. He gave me his ID# 940870324 and a PIN 666.That did ot for me.
He told me I would need Piriform, PCMATIC, Windows Defender, and other programs at a cost to me to fix it. Then he said he could fix some errors remotely. Well. I spent about 1/2 hr with him.
I turned off my PC and later changed my passwords. I'm afraid I spent too much time online with him and want to know if there is any way to find out who they are and if he was able to steal info from my computer.
