On May 4, 2015 I ordered a climate control module for a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. I received the part timely. After receiving the part I discovered that the part was not the cause of my air conditiong problem but rather a burned out resister. I sent them an email requesting a return authorization number. They responded timely. I returned the item in the manner they specified and timely. On May 26 I got an email stating that they were refunding me the purchase price less a 15% restocking fee which was clearly explained to me in the original invoice. The restocking fee was to be $66.48. The invoiced purchase price was $238.23 and was advertised as such, however, there was a core charge of $204.97 for a total of $443.20. The core charge is a deposit fee if the part is used and the old part is not returned. The part was not used, obviously. Therefore, the restocking fee should only be applied to the part price of $238.23. You can't restock a deposit fee or core charge as they call it. They have credited to my credit card account a total of $376.72. I called them on the phone on may 29, 2015. I ecplained the situation to them and that I didn't feel it was correct to charge me a restocking fee on the core charge. They flat out refused stating it was part of the purchase price. How can a core charge (deposit) be restocked it can't. I am out $35.73. Any help you could give me in looking into this matter would appreciated.
On February 19, 2014 I ordered parts to repair my 1994 Pontiac ransport Van. I intially recieved 3 of the 5 items ordered very quickly and was immediately impressed. However, since that date the remianing two items still have not been delvered,
I have initiated three customer service tickets since that time without any response from them. I have filed three reviews on Trust pilot - and still no response. I have tried no less than 6 times to call them, only to be put on automatic hold for up to an hour at a time. They do not answer their phones either.
Since this company has no problem taking money for items ordered, then not filling the order completely, I would avoid doing any busness with them at all costs. It is not worth the aggravation of the hassle of trying to get what you paid for.
Any reputable copmpany would have followed up and responded to a customer complaint - this one does not
