Let me start out by saying I'm a clean/neat person. I like things to be clean and I try to keep them that way. I was injured 2 years ago so now I'm in a wheelchair. A physical disability makes cleaning my place a lot more diicult, and add on top of that a wheelchair that tracks in dirt and a dog, and the place can get dirty fairly quickly.
So, I looked on Craigslist and called Partners in Grime Cleaning Service (Lisa Borella) based on her advertisement for "deep cleaning." She quoted me $120 for a small 1 BR/1 Bath apatment. She showed up shotly after 8 AM. and began cleaning when I left for summer school class at 8:30 AM. I told her to retun my house key to the front office. I received a text message from my apartment complex beore 10 AM saying that the key had retuned. She spent a little over 1 hour "deep cleaning." I basically paid her a rate of $120/hour for her work, and let me tell you, her cleaning was ABYSMAL.
I told her beforehand that there was a good amount of hair from my dog. Every area where the carpet meets the wall still has tons of hair, as well as the carpet and floors. She wiped down tops of tables and desks, but all the arms and legs of every surface are still covered in dust. The couch was not wiped down. The floor still has little leaves and dust on it. She did not wipe down the grime from either sink head (bathroom and kitchen). She didn't touch the fridge. Beneath the stove and on the kitchen floor are tons of crumbs. She didn't clean inside any drawer in the kitchen. To the sides of the washer and dryer are huge amounts of lint and hair. She didn't clean the mirrors in the bathroom. She didn't clean the inside of the tub (still a ring) or wipe the grime off of the tub spout or any of the chrome finishings. And this onlv beams to describe everything she didn't do.
The place is still a mess. Her cleaning w as worth $15, tops. She did the absolute bare minimum that anyone could ask for and charged a lot. She said I would be getting a "deep clean." When I heard that, I imagined a thorough cleaning. That conjured an image in my mind of scrubbing, mopping the floors, making things shine, making the house spotless, and for $120/hour, I expected that. Yet she didn't even clean the mirror in the bathroom, wipe down water spots on chrome finishings, or even the entire counter. There's still food stains on the counter!
If you want to get ripped off. hire Lisa. She'll be done with your place in 1 hour or less, and say it's because of how experienced she is. I asked for my money back, and she turned around saying I was harassing her, and flooded my phone with over 100 text messages, every few seconds, with:
"PLLLEEEEESSSEEE LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!! R u phsico?!!"
She then had some man call me up and proceed to cuss me out, saying that I got what I paid for and that I was being ungrateful.
Lisa is a crook, and she's childish. Here is a gallery of pictures taken immediately when I got home. Keep in mind, these pictures are AFTER she cleaned. http://postimg.org/gallery/8tb6yl9o.
