I set up a meeting with what I thought was a recruiter. When I got to the building the business Paragon Employment Group was not on the directory(Clue #1). When I made it to the office, it was a multi-purpose office with multiple businesses including law offices. I was greeted and escorted to Larry's office. Where he asked to see my resume and asked a few questions, which from a Human Resource perspective are not allowed. Two that come to mind was my age and relationship status, I answered them any ways as it really doesn't bother me to give up that info. However, this guy was completely full of crap and obviously doesn't understand the concept of "right to work" state. I think I quit listening to him about 5 minutes into his speel, in which he never really got to the point of selling his services. I can see the writing on the wall when he said the magic words "career marketing". Then he went on to tell me how my job search was all wrong. What he didn't know was I had been scammed into attending a meeting like this about 2 years ago. I wish I had of taken better notes to recognize this scam so I didn't have to waste 30 minutes in his office. Paragon Employment group should be shut down!!! This is obviously a scam to make the unemployed think this service will help them with their career search. They did not get any money out of me, but I wish I could have the time I wasted with them back. Paragon Employment Group is a bunch of crap and obviously was shut down in Lewisville and moved to Plano. If you are looking for work, and are contacted by Paragon do not make the mistake of setting up an appointment. It is a complete rip off/scam!
