On 1/14/2014 I contacted David Sharp from Panini America to inquire about the Damian Lillard Redemption process as I had sent in my reciept from my local card store (LB's Sportscards) to which I was informed he needed to contact the store about the purchase of $1000+ in SportsCards to meet the demand they were asking to get this redemption.
After which I recieved an eBay message from the local store owner (Which I have stopped frequenting due to his ethics which I do not agree with) and he stated that I needed to pay him $915.00 or he would void my agreement with Panini. I informed David of this and sent him screen shot of this extortion attempt.
After getting nowhere with David I contacted Mark Warsop (CEO of Panini America) and informed him of the situation in which he chose to side with the customer and not the consumer (me). I informed him that I would not be purchasing any more of their products and would stick to proven commodities such as Upper Deck and Topps, to which his reply in E-mail was "OK".
I hope that people see this and will use caution when dealing with Panini America as I found out when I filed my BBB report that they have an "F" rating and many others are unhappy with their dealings.
