I had a large garden window installed by Pace a few years ago. It's been nothing but trouble since then. I've had them over twice because it leaks. The first time they repaired it after a few weeks. The second time, they insisted it wasn't leaking it was, instead, ""condensation"". They had engineers come in from Rochester after I insisted it was leakage, to inspect it and they also concluded it was condensation. Even with a puddle under it a foot in diameter. I contacted the BBB and filed a complaint. Finally, after soaking the window for 20 minutes with a hose, they witnessed the leak and repaired it. It took 3 months for them to do it. They promised they would go ""all out"" to fix it permanetely.
Now it is leaking for the third time. I called them and was told they would be over in 3 weeks to fix it. On the day scheduled they called my voice mail to postpone for another 3 weeks because the scheduler didn't realize how big the window is and would need 2 people to fix it. If I had any questions I should call them. Well, I called, got the voice mail and left a message to call me and 4 hours later, no call back.
I can't believe it's going to take them 6 weeks to look at it. In the meanwhile it continues to leak. The wood shelf under the window, which they also installed along with the window, is rotting because of the leak. I mentioned it to them before, but they refuse to fix it. Said painting would hide it.
Trust me, don't get started with these people. Get your windows somewhere else because you won't get a good one from Pace Windows and Doors.
