ON April 25th,2014 I went looking for a car at Outten Chevrolet because my previous car a subaru Impreza was totaled. I needed a car ASAP. I was lured there by someone i knew for a long time because he had heard I totaled my car. I told him I was looking for a 4 cylinder, AWD. I looked on their website and I could not find any cars that matched that criteria. The day before I went to Outten one miraculousy appeared on the website advertising itself as a 4 cylinder, AWD.
So, I went there under the assumption it was indeed a 4 cylinder AWD. All throughout that day i kept saying something good on gas and a 4 cylinder type engine. I was never corrected. So I end up buying the car. Several days later, I find out it was a 6 cylinder totally not something i was looking for.
only 7 days had passed and i was looking to return the car not trade it in. I thought I could return the car because it was being misrepresented.
The dealer said I could not return it outright I had to trade it in. so again, I told this dealer I need a 4 cylinder, AWD. What does he show me? He shows me a 4 wheel drive vehicle. once again trying to deceive me.
Since, I had to get a car asap for my job I went over to another dealer who I traded this car into only to find out he was only giving me 15,700 on it which meant 7000 would roll over onto this new car loan. During the appraisal he showed me damage to the car that I was never made aware of at Outten Chevrolet.
I now owe 25,000 on a car all because some guy totaled my car in an accident. Thanks Outten Chevrolet
Since this dealer was someone i knew I believe he was taking advantage of the fact that I totaled my car. He was looking for commission.
