On 6-5-2014, Josh from oracle came to our building and said he was just looking for something to do. he spent some time working on the elevators and i'm told replaced some brushs in the motor. later the same night the elevator failed and trapped 3 people. the fire department had to break open doors, cut off locks and cause some damage to the building as a result. they also turned off the elevators. the next morning "Bob" from oracle elevator showed up and had repaired the issue. he said it was again brushs and this time because the last guy didnt sand down the brushs. so i asked him direct, "so this was caused as a result of the guy Josh not sanding them right? he paused and answered yes. now again today 6/10/14 fire department returns as two additional people get trapped in the same elavator. oracle sends a guy named Harry to inspect. We asked him to show us how to bring the elevators to the floor in an emergency as we have Judges and children in this building. he refused to give us this info and even denied to allow the building maintenance the info and only stated we would have to allow fire to cut off the doors as they started to do today untill we popped open the door at the floor they were trapped in and removed the people. they stated we would otherwise call oracle and pay them to do it as we were not quilified. the issue is they refuse to give us any info that will result in them not getting paid and I personally watched their guy tear off, break and throw away a covering from the inside of the door and never notified the building owner they did it only after a few weeks of not being fixed did they admit it when told we saw them remove it. months later, that issue is still unresolved. As an officer responsable for providing safety and security to the Judge and the people having hearings, I am a first responder and think I easily get those elevator cars on the floor and get those people out and the building maintence are quite qualified in my book, yet they refuse to give us this as he stated we must call them and pay them for the calls. In my book, thats a rip off. beware of oracle elevator in Columbus Ohio and I will file this same complaint later today with the local BBB and the local newpaper tip lines.
