Jason E Pierce aka Chronic Action Sports Limited as a scammer! DO NOT believe a word that comes out of his mouth. If he is talking he is lying!
I was referred to Mr. Pierce regarding an investment opportunity in his Sporting Goods Companies. He was looking for an investment of $100k for 20% of his company. The money was to be used for a roll up transaction by where he was going to bundle 4 of his companies to become one entity and then promote that company to raise capital to either purchase other companies or eventually go public.
Although his companies were rather young I looked at the larger picture as he already had secured a licensing deal with Mossy Oak(R) to place Mossy Oak (R) designs on snow skis, snow boards etc.
In August of 2014 during my due diligence period of Jason Pierce and his companies, I made a cash loan (to be paid back in a week)to Mr.
Pierce in the amount of 5k as he indicated that he had some purchase order financing that he needed help with. After a few weeks went by and learning a bit more about who Jason Elliot Pierce is I am glad I did not invest!
After I informed him that I would not be investing based on some material facts that I did not disclose, I asked for my 5k to be paid back as the loan was to only be for a week. It was after this that the real Jason Pierce emerged.
He started out by trying to reason with me. After a period of time the threats of suing me for interfering with his business and a host of other baseless threats,
I still do not have my money back nor will I ever expect it back. I reached out to a few people that I thought may have some feedback on this guy. From all of my conversations regarding this guy his pattern is the same.
He lures victims for an investment by presenting" the best thing to hit the action sports market", asks for a small investment up front in exchange for a small percent of his business or for a cash repayment and never delivers. Once he is approached for any wrong doing he turns into the devil and turns the whole deal around and the Lawyer threats etc start.
This guy will eventually piss off the wrong person. He owes a ton of money to many individuals. I have wasted enough time on this low life. All of his LLC's are attached to the address which is his parents house. That's right this 45 year old huckster lives in his parents basement.
Bottom Line stay away from this looser. He will promise you the moon and deliver nothing.
Noteworthy would be his upcoming trial in June of 2015. It wont be the first time he has been in front of the judge. I am certain it wont be his last!
The Case is out of Portage County WI. Case#13-cv164 Looks like the case is about My other findings show he has numerous default judgments as well. Also noteworthy are his websites that appear to be bogus as product that is listed cannot be delivered.
