I have not much more to add as far as the process that One Technologies (ScoreSense) uses to rip off people $29.95 from their account(s), other than I was really ripped off. I have already filed a complaint with the FTC and I hope they get that $22 million; and I have been fortunate to have personal contact with Ms. Schroeder of the FTC who is working on it for all of us. I have also filed a complaint with the Dallas BBB. I have even had two telephone calls from the horrible Kevin Hain, Sr. Escalations Administrator of One Technologies, who is a very mean man and tried to intimidate me.
So, I really want to see this company pay. What I am trying to find out from others is how they got onto the site. I had an email from a real estate company in Honolulu saying I did not get a property I wanted and to check my credit report, in fact it said Fraud Alert and lead me to the the Freescore360.com site. I have excellent credit, so I was concerned my credit had been compromised, so I went on. Of course, all was fine and when I went back to the real estate company to complain about there scaring me, they said they didn't and when I went back to the message the real estate company had sent me the Fraud Alert wasn't there.
I have read a lot of complaints and some have said they have had similar experience to mine, they were on a "trusted site" or a pop showed their Bank logo, etc.. I wonder if OTL has put a virus out there? I have microsoft. I would love to get the FBI after them besides the FTC.
Got an email from this outfit and replied. they ask you some sensitive inforamtion which I provided, tehy confirmed my information, then told me for a $1 I could get the report, not free as pitched. so to give them the dollar you need to provide credit card and in small print in a different location it says by doing this you agree to be charged 30.00 per month for ongoing reports to the same credit card unless you call and cancel within 7 days. so it a buck, no big deal, just agreivates me that these sites exist.
