DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! HELD MY MONEY $2000.00+ FOR OVER ONE MONTH!!!!!Ordered 2 antique chairs in February. Delivery was to be March. Contacted customer service multiple times to be given the run around by incompetent customer service reps. Each gave a different reason why they couldn't find my order, which stated as shipped but I was not in possession....this is now April. Was told I would receive partial refund, have not. Was told I was absolutely justified in my frustration, then was sent yet another prefab email stating that they would deactivate my account due to what they considered an inappropriate conversation with a sales rep. This company receives an F-. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN. Best of all....the antique chairs....mass production made in China! What a rip-off!
I was looking for dining chairs and found at One Kings Lane very cute chairs at a good price. I sent my credit card information and was sent 4 chairs. Unfortunatly I ordered 2 paires of Brown leather Caldwell chairs. I recieved 2 pairs of brown something Karna chairs. These are commonly available on Amazon and Overstock for less. When I notified customer service at One Kings Lane they sounded conserned. I was notified that they would give me 25% off, or I could wait 3-5 weeks while they contacted thier vendor to see what could be done. Or I could return the incorrect chairs, no mention of getting the right ones.
Basically ""Sorry we hoped you wouldn't notice the bait and switch. We don't care about your time and effort, but since you noticed we will take them back. Your time and the fact that you don't have chairs is not our problem"" Well I think it should be. They advertised, and thier vender sent somethinh differant. These are thier faults, but I'm the one who does not have chairs and will not get refunded until the recieve 4 Caldwell Chairs as returns. I don't know how to do that since they did not send that to me.
I ordered a china platter. It arrived with the edge totally smashed. I contacted the vendor, they said notify onekingslane. I did, they wanted pics, which I sent. Got a return email offering me TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT credit. Are they kidding? It's USELESS. They can have it back if THEY pay for, arrange shipping. If they want to pursue a claim w/ the shipper, that's THEIR problem, NOT mine. Do they try to rip off customers? HORRIBLE impression. Do they think we're stupid?
