As others have attested, putting listing on Craig's list prompted these folks to start spamming me with phone callls.

Promises that "we have a buyer interested..." etc are just so much balony. To date I have received exactly ) response from my $189 expenditure.

I am going to the attorney general with a formal complaint. These folks are a complete waste of time and money.

BEWARE!!! Please watch out for these hucksters! They scan Craigslist vehicle ads and against the "do not solicit" policy on Craigslist they call you and try to sell you a "we'll sell your car because you can't" service for $189.00. Clearly a scam and shady at best. When I called to ascertain why they violated federal law they hung up on me. When I called back to get a contact address and ownership information I was told they didn't have to give me that information and hung up on me. On my last callbacK the C/S rep even stated that I was on the do not call list and didn't know why I was called to begin with then hung up on me!

I was contacted by Eric representing oncedriven to advertise my harley davidson as he had several buyers for it. Told me that if the bike was not sold within 45 days, I would be refunded the $189. fee. Ashley contacted me via phone stating the the bike was competitively priced, great pictures, and should sell right away.

After 60 days I called and was 49th caller.

After 65 days I was 59th caller...and so on, and so on.

Readvertised the bike on craigs list and got calls at the same price as advertised oncedriven. 0 calls. Purely scam/ripoff

I listed a vehicle for sale on Craigslist. It sold within 48 hours. My ad had the standard verbiage about not calling to offer other services.

Two weeks later my wife looked at my cell phone and said there was a voice-mail. Turns out there were four messages from some b*hole named Aaron at Once Driven, left over about a ten-day period.

I carry my phone at all times and my phone never rang when the messages were left. When I played the messages back there was no caller number given. Aaron had somehow managed to leave messages without actually calling.

Having sold a few vehicles before I am familiar with the way they operate even though I had never heard of this particular fly-by-night outfit until now. They will claim that if you pay a huge amount to list your car with them it will sell for a whole lot more money. If that is true, why don't they just buy my car at my asking price and sell it themselves on their site for as much as they wish?

It took a bit of research to find Once Driven's location. Even then, all these sleezeballs will give out is a post office box number. They are so secretive they do not even provide their ZIP code! I guess that is meant to make it harder for the sheriff to serve process on them.

This company makes big promises on the front-end, and the fee seems resonable. Put it back in you pocket. Over 7-week, not the first inquiry was received. Look, they exist to extract that initial fee from you (for me it was $189) and they hope 45-days goes by so they get to keep the fee. I sold my item on my own, locally, for $1,000 (or 10%) more than advertised with once driven. I very much feel their 45-day guarantee was intentionally misleading. I believe their program even creates a conflcit-of-interest. They hope you don't sell - then they keep the fee! You don't need them; you can and should do it on your own!

I was contacted by "Erin" from "once driven" after posting an ad on ct craigs list, saying he has clients lined up looking for boats like mine. The only problem being i am not selling a boat. Not even close. He calls. 2, 3 times a week, leaving a message about people looking for my boat , as well as using my name which is posed on craigslist. I do not belive this is a real company. I think this is some poor sap or saps , working out of thier dungeon or home, or streets, with a program that scans phone numbers and certain words on craigslist. Which it provides one with a list of numbers and the words it found associated , so one could then fit in your info into a generic sales pitch witch he contacts and keeps repeating , hoping someone will pay him thier 180$ to post your vehicle / boat or whatever it may be, on some phoney web site he/she/they created to, that gets not even 1 visit a year. This is a really bad company to do buissness with, or it is fraudulent , fake , made up buissness. I wonder why the IRS doesn't look into theese people to see what kind of taxes they are paying, along with what other descrepencys they may find. Do not contact once driven unless you are telling them to stop calling.

3rd or 4th robo-call in a week w/prerecorded message that they're interested in helping me sell my car. First of all, when you receive a call from "Restricted" or "Unknown", does it 1) sorta seem a little creepy that 2) they don't have enough pride in their business to let recipients know that 3) really, underneath it all, they sorta seem like the guy on the street corner who's trying to sell you the gen-u-wine "Rilex" wrist watch?

Google their phone number or name and check out some of the comments, like, how easy it is to get out of their contract, the ease of obtaining a refund, heck, even the ability to NOT be called any more! (hope THAT works!). Best of all, call them. Even the pre-recorded menu options have the background noise of a 'boiler room'.

If they help you sell your car, great. And post a rebuttal here. But check out others' comments before you submit payment.

I have to admit I fell for the Once Driven Scam... I received a call from Once Driven and was told that people in my area were interested in a truck like mine, and they could guarantee it could be sold for a small fee of $189.00... Furthermore they would be marketing my truck in my zip code and area for fast responses. So I did it. After a few days I went in and checked to see if my truck was listed. It was with 0 miles. Now it will not sell with 0 miles, so I had them change this. After a few days I called back and told them I wanted to get my money back and stop running my ad I was told, oh you cannot get a refund of the $160.00 unless you have sold your truck to a person that has not seen it on our website. I said this is not what I signed up for... However, what could I do? A few days later a man bought my truck, I called Once Driven and told them it had sold, but the next day the man backed out. I called Once Driven again to get my truck relisted they screwed up the listing for the next week. Finally the listing was corrected, but I never heard from anyone wanting my truck.. I blew $189.00. I guess this is what happens when something sounds to go to be true.
