I had owed Olson Shaner $325 for a medical bill that had been given to them. In April I began making steady weekly payments and managed to pay my debt down to $175. During the last week of May, I received a summons saying that I had not been paying I contacted them and was told they are allowed to serve me a summons whether I had been paying or not. They tacked on an additional $125 to the $175 I had left and said it was processing and serving fees. I begrudgingly paid off the $300 amount.
I would even call each week to confirm how much I had left to pay. After making my last payment, I called to confirm it had been processed and wanted to get a PAID IN FULL. However, I was told that I still owe $100. I asked for a itemization and was told that their company does not process itemizations. I asked if there was any way for them to show me what I had left to pay and they again declined me this privilege. That means that Olson Shaner can continue to tack on charges as long as they want. Awesome!
