I have been dealing with David, at Off Lease Laser for the past 6 months. I was missing some of the filters on my Sciton Profile BBL and also needed my NdYag head serviced, all other systems working great, was using micropeel and BBL routinely. Spoke with David about the upgrades which he said he could do with a quick turn-around time of 2-4 weeks as recommended adding a SkinTyte head to the system to increase its value for an additional $5000, which we agreed to. Sent him my laser at the end of April and still have not received it. I have had multiple phone calls and e-mails not returned over the last several months, they offered to send me a fully refurbished system that was a repossession as they had some issues with the rod on my laser (was working fine when I sent it in), then, when I didn't receive that in a timely fashion, offered to send me some interval lasers. Sent me a cutera titan without the cord, said they would overnight the cord, two weeks later, no cord, called back, overnighted a cord that does not fit the device. Needless to say, I have contacted my attorney and have begun the process of suing Off Lease Laser for breach of contract. I have even asked to just have my laser sent back to me in the condition I sent it and they won't do that. Do not do business with this company. Lynore Martinez, MD
Late last year (2014), i had made several posts to scamorg’s site about a used laser vendor, off lease laser. These postings are found at http://www.Scamorg.com/off-lease-laser-d7
We have subsequently entered into an agreement with them which provides for a refund being made to us and with which we are satisfied. Part of that agreement is that we ask sites like scamorg to remove the postings that we had previously made about off lease laser. I have previously posted on this forum regarding David Stern and Off Lease Laser and feel I need to update everyone on how dishonest this company is and how difficult it is to deal with them. I sent my Sciton Profile, fully functional, for an upgrade. We needed additional BBL filters and needed our Nd:yag head repaired. David Stern told me they could add a SkinTyte component as well. We sent in our laser in April, 2014 as well as $18,750. Mr. Stern sold our laser to another client, is unable to provide us with a replacement, sent us two lasers to use while he was looking for another Sciton (a quantum IPL with a cracked head and a Cutera Titan without a power cord...we ordered a power cord to try and use it and it had no shots). We spent $$$ on an attorney to try to get our laser back or financial compensation and discontinued these efforts due to the high attorney fees. We agreed after that to compensation of $30,000 (despite having sent in $18,750) paid monthly over 12 months in order to get something, and Mr. Stern then backed out of the deal. He is now threatening to post information about our practice that is negative in order to bully us into removing our on-line posts regarding his company, so we have had to contact the attorney general's office of consumer affairs in Florida as well as retain another attorney who practices in Florida. Do not do business with this company.
I sent my sciton laser for repair and upgrade in April, 2014 and have not received it back. Have requested return and refund but was denied.
I contracted with Off-Lease Laser to upgrade my Sciton Profile Laser. Laser was sent in April, 2014 for additional filters for BBL, NdYag head repair and upgrade addition of a SkinTyte head with a 2-4 week turnaround. After 1 month was told "rod" was pitted and that was too expensive to fix so they were going to send me a repossessed unit within 4 weeks that would have all of the options I needed on it. After an additional four weeks was told they did not know when it would be available and offered to send me loaners of other types of lasers. They sent me a Cutera Titan without a cords, said they would send it overnight, two weeks later was not recieved, called again and the wrong cord was sent, did not fit machine. I have asked to have my laser sent back to me in the condition I sent it to them in and asked for a refund of the $18,750 deposit I had sent for repairs and was told that they could not do that. I have contacted my attorney who is drafting a complaint to begin lawsuit proceedings.
