45 days before sailing on the Oceania Insignia for a 10-day cruise, we are unable to book a table for two in any of the restaurants on any evening between 7 PM and 8 PM.
The only options offered to us by Gina, Customer Service Supervisor, is to share a table or to dine at 9 PM on either the first or last nights.
Certainly this is not what we expected from a mid-ship intimate experience.
Oceania in their advertising compares itself to other cruiselines. We have cruised on those cruiselines and Oceania certainly fails to meet basic customer-satisfaction expectations.
We will update this report after the cruise to share how we were able or unable to fight our way through Oceania's inflexible policies and get a few intimate dinners!
