A few years ago this doctor killed my cat then wanted me to pay for the surgery. He claims my cat died in recovery after getting spade, I asked if he used heart monitors and he said no. I checked with other clinics and they say that everyone uses heart monitors on their pets. But Oakland Park Animal Hospital did NOT use heart monitors. I told the other doctors and they were shocked that Oakland Park Animal Hospital not only allowed my cat to die by not using heart monitors they wanted me to pay for the surgery afterwards. They even held my cat and did not give it back to me until I got extremely angry, then it was like "Oh, we were not holding your cat until you paid us, we would never do that" What else are they hiding and not telling us? If you love your pet do them a favor and take it somewhere else. Ask them if they use heart monitors, research what the clinic is supposed to do and question them thoroughly before they do anything.
After my research I believe that Dr. Spencer L. Ratnoff of Oakland Park Animal Hospital is guilty of neglegence in killing my cat while it was under his care, read below to hear my story, then look at his reviews, not the fake ones, scroll down to see the real ones and you will see this doctor is trying to hide something.

After watching the story on cnn.com about the doctor in west palm that hides his surgical death rate from his customers so they do not see his rate is 3 x higher than normal. I am telling my story now incase this doctor is trying to hide is shortcomings.
Also, if you look at their google reviews the good ones look fake, every time someone posts a bad review a bunch of good ones appear above it, then if you click on the people who left the reviews you can see they only left 1 review in theri life and did nothing else, so it looks like the doctor has a company or a guy posting fake reviews to cover up their true abilities.
Scroll down their google reviews page and you will see the bad ones, look for the 1 and 2 stars, those reviews are true people, but then look right a bove and you see a bunch of bogus looking reviews to cover up the truth. Shame on you doctor.
