I applied for a position, was offered the position, then the day I was to move in and start they called me AND LEFT A PHONE MESSAGE rescinding the offer. Probably the most unprofessional conduct I have ever seen as a reputable award winning teacher. They claim I failed to call them yet they knew every step of the way I was having to move and close the door on my last position and begin a new chapter. If this is how they treat people I am glad I found out.
Because I had been offered a position I moved my belongings into storage and when they frivilosly tossed me to the curb without even the professionalism to speak directly to me. At 60 years old with two degrees and 20 years of teaching experience they left me homeless. These people didn't have the minimum professionalism to talk to me so I could change my plans. Whatever their rationale they owed me some minimal respect to not leave me in the lurch.
If this is how they treat people you have to wonder about how they treat the kids there. As a career teacher I'm afraid I could not recommend OCRS, further warn prospective employees, that they can expect to be treated very poorly and with no respect. DO NOT APPLY AT THIS SCHOOL.
