My husband has lung cancer. He likes to cook, but we live in a motorhome and he does a lot of cooking on the propane stove. Bought this cooktop to try to reduce any smoke, sizzling or excess steam which causes breathing problems.

He didn't even use this thing. Straight out of the box, it was not what was described to him; these people flat out lied about everything regarding their product. We immediately returned it, but had to pay shipping.

Cost for product, with shipping, was $129.95. Cost to return ship was $26.45. It took them 2 weeks for refund of only $99. Just to look at this piece of crap, which was not as described, cost us $57.40!!!

Almost $60 just to see we had been scammed. We are retired, on a fixed income with health problems. He talked to these people and they lied through their teeth. Cannot say enough bad things about them at this point.

Really infuriating to make a point of buying American made products, just to have a company like this screw you out of so much money. Hope they go out of business!!!

Suggestion, don't deal with this company, ever!

I just got my nuwave induction cooktop delieved 2 hours ago. I was so excited as we bought it for our rental property. I loved that I didnt have to worry about the house burning down with weekly renters.

The ad was buy one get one free. I loved that as I got free cookware for my first set and I ordered the griddle for the cooktop for the renters to be able to cook fish down here in the Florida Keys when vacationing.

Well, not so much. I opened the box and in it were 2 cooktops and a griddle. NO cookware so I called customer service right then and told them that when ordering online I asked for just one set of cookware and declined the 2nd set and ordered the griddle. She then told me that I declined the shipping on the first order so I didnt get it. I explained I did not mean to do that and I wanted the cookware. She then said, "well that was a one time offer". So I said, "I just opened the box". She put me on hold to talk to a manager and came back and said, "SORRY, we cant do it. You have to pay for it now." So I stated that without the cookware I didnt need the cooktops so she gave me the return information and told me I could pay to ship it back and hung up on me!

This is not the type of company I want to do business with! I own 2 businesses and I can assure you talking to any of my customers with such disrespect would get me the same reviews that Nuwave seems to get often. Guess this is how they make their money.

Very sad way to do business!

very bad customer service

I'm trying to contact customer service for 3 days. I was on hold for total time over 10hrs.. I have extra charge on my card and I like to have some explanation why. This is a worse company ever to contact.

I hope no one will order from them. Please people look around. They only want to make money of people.
