I have purchased 3 nuwave ovens over the last 15 years and never had a problem until now.....
For Christmas my husband purchased me theParty mixer, 3 months later the 48 oz picter's top rim melted in my dishwasher. Everywhere on their website www.nuwavenow.com/product_views.php?product_id=2365 and on my 48 oz pitcher it is etched dishwasher safe. I called and emailed pictures of the pitcher and their quality control feels they don't believe it is a product defect. They recommend top rack only in the dishwasher. I feel that should have been stated on the product. I have tupperware that says "top rack only". The representative said they would do a one time waiver of the pitcher, but had to charge me $11.95 for S&H. I asked if they could send it via post office; as it's cheaper, but she said they only use UPS.
Another problems is if you go to the above link, scroll down to parts & pieces and order just the pitcher, the website shows a S&H charge of $6,95 for my area. I broght this to the lady's attention, but she refused to honor that S&H price.
Ordered a bogo nuwave cooktop. With this order I was instructed to pay an additional $29.95 for shipping on a cookware set and 2 coated pans. I paid the additional $29.95. The 2 cooktops came in with no problems. They were also shipped in the same package.
When I called to see where the pans were, I was told that I could have the 2 coted pans, but would have to pay an additionl $29.95. If I wanted the cookware set, I would have to pay $59.99, plus another $29.95. This is a complete misrepresentation of what was promised from their infomercial.
I also had been offered 1 free carrying case. That did not come with the order. I did get that portion sorted out. I asked about returning everything, which I am allowed to do, but would not be refunded the $59.99 for 2 shipping charges. Like I said. Both cooktops were shipped together, but was being charged for 2 shipping charges.
I purchased the TV offer of the Nuwave PIC and the "free" pans. No wonder that the pans are free, the "non stick" coating faile after about a year. The Nuwave rep advised that the pans have no waranty
I ordered the NuWave Pic 2 package where you are supposed to get a Free Fondue Pot and two Frying Pans on the internet. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my order to a NuWave Pic 2 Pro. I agreed. When I received my order I did get the upgrade with the two NuWave Pic 2 Pros and two griddles I also ordered. There was not fontdue pot or frying pans. I contacted customer service to see where thery were. I was informed that I had not ordered them because of doing the upgrade I did not check a box on the order and they would have to charge me for the fondue put and fry pans. They could not make any exceptions to fix the order. They told me I could do a return of the items I recieved and they game me a RMA number to do the return. Now I have to return this product which I paid more for being I upgraded and loose out on all the shipping and handling they charged. They charged me $79.80 for shipping and handling which I will loose.
If I had gone with agreeing to pay for the products I was supposed to get for free they would be charging me
$59.95 and 29.95 shipping. When I said I would pay just for the shipping they said they could not do that and then they lowered the price to 34.95 and 29.95 shipping
Either way I loose money if I return the product I loose $79.80 if I go ahead and pay for what I was supposed to get for free and pay 29.95 shipping now I would have to pay another $64.90.
