I am not opposed to their meal program but Nutrisystem SUCKS when it comes to customer service. And under no circumstances, should you choose the "family" plan. When you subscribe to Nutrisystem, over time your food costs decrease with their plans... sort of a loyalty or longevity bonus. However, if you are a sub-member on the family account and you want to have your own access to your own account apart from other family members, you have to cancel your account and start all over again as if a new member. You LOSE all your discounts regardless of time as a member. Come on Nutrisystem! Get with the program!
I signed up for nutrisystem approximately 3 months ago for a cost of $320 for one month. When I got my first shipment in the mail the food was so awful, my dog who would eat almost anything wouldn’t go near this vile stuff. After calling them they push you to stay and you talk to some “weight loss counselor” who recommends some random thing each time you call em aka add more iron and veggies etc. After pushing back the delivery dates of the next box of toxic waste due to the fact I couldn’t bring myself to eat it, I finally decided to cancel it. When I called to cancel they quickly stated that I would be charged $94 for canceling early and not taking 3 delivery shipments. Nowhere when I ordered this did it state I had to order 3 shipments of this. They quickly pushed the charge threw and hung up. After calling back multiple times trying to get this charge taken off I spoke to the nastiest supervisor who basically told me it was buried in the terms of service and refused to credit the charge. I tried to dispute it with PayPal but everyone knows that a nightmare. Nutrisystem is the biggest modern day scam around.
