On 2/12/15 I contacted NordicTrack. I was looking to talk to one of the professional reps to find out about diff. equipment. During our coversation I pointed out that my appt. is really small. He suggested that I get Elliptical. I applied for PayPal credit and purchased everything: assembly, warranty, ect.

I had to return elliptical, because i couldnt even get to it. I had to climb over my bed to use it.

Now Nordictrack is charging me $249.00 assembly fee. Company return policy does not state that customer is responsible for assembly fee.

Terrible Company and terrible service.

PayPal does not protect you as a consumer. Don't apply for the credit at PayPal

I purchased my Commercial 1750 and the extended warranty from Nordictrack.com on 10/13, we use the treadmill approximately 4 times a week. The machine was working great, until about a month ago when it started making a squeaking sound when we use the incline. The sound has increased in intensity to the point that we can’t use the incline because the noise it too annoying. I contacted Nordictrack’s customer service to get the machine fixed and they refused to send someone to fix the problem.

Beware of the warranty terms and conditions. They first expect the owner to take the machine apart and attempt to fix the problem before they will agree to send a technician.

I bought a NordicTrack e15 Elliptical in 2012 and was upsold the ifit 2 year membership and an extended warranty in a subsequent call with customer support. The elliptical started having issues within a few months of use (total cost of the equipment, extended warranty and ifit membership was close to $2000). If there an issue with the equipment, they will send you parts if you request for it. But in April 2014, I reported a really bad knocking sound and had the technician come up here to take a look at the issue a couple of times. The second time, it was to install a new ramp and the technician could not take apart the existing one to replace it since the bolt was jammed in the old one. Now the equipment sits there just taking up space. Did I mention that in additon to the knocking sound, we have an issue with the resistance not changing fro its highest resistance level making it hard to use the machine? After using the elliptical with the resistance issue, i have chronic knee pain which perhaps is a permanent injury caused by the elliptical.

A year into the purchase of the ifit membershp, there were technical issues with the service and I was unable to use the ifit features for almost a year. If you ever get in touch icon service; you will find that there is only one customer support person who always responds to a support request - Tyler B. That is quite strange for a corporation that would seemingly have a lot of customer support needs with all the issues I have recently read about their equipment.
