On three occasions, I sent my payments by certified mail and they were applied on the third day. However, other payments were applied as much as ten days later and one was lost. The average time to payment application for those other payments is 3.95 days. My latest payment was mailed on May 11, 2015. I went online to check the payment on May 18th and none has been recorded.

I tried to call the Customer Service number 1 (800) 456-6622 and was given an automated system for surveys. I then tried the Customer Collections number 1(800) 777-7525 and waited for over an hour for a representative to answer. I gave up.

I have kept track of the last 23 payments, when I began to notice the discrepancy, to date. With the exception of the three certified mail payments the average extra days beyond the three day normal delivery was 3.95. Over the 64 month life of the loan the extra interest equals approximately $4.00 per day for a total of (64 X 3.95 X $4.00) about $1011.

I have informed them, by mail, of the problem on multiple occasions to no avail. Their most frequent answer to the problem is that it is the fault of the postal system.
